Added to the fact that Iran does not have the best of relationships with the West does not help either. 

 

Members on this forum need to understand, things are difficult vis-a-vis Iran whether it is doing business, transferring money, sending and receiving mail etc.. Virtually every Compliance course I've been to (working in a bank) , Iran is flagged - so I can understand the issues Luxury Bluray is faced with 

 

YES, we are all collectors, YES we would love to have these products in hand sooner, YES, we've waited a long time 

But to put it in perspective, we are not dying here lol.. The item will come - eventually. These are discless editions, YES would look great on the shelf but the delay has not stopped you from watching these movies. Most of the collectors here do not even open their premiums anyway (which I've never quite understood), so I'm sure our shelves can wait 

 

I will close by asking a question, what's the difference between this situation and Cinemuseum for example?

I paid for Casino back in November, so coming up to a year.. YES, ONE FULL YEAR.. 

If anything, vwe should be up in arms against CM

CM sighted Covid as the main reason for the delay in schedule - exactly the same reason which Luxury Bluray is quoting (which resulted in a closing of borders). 

So why are we differentiating? Just because CM is a European retailer and deemed more reliable? Even though we wait 6 months to a year for every single release. 

And Luxury Bluray is from Iran, hence must be dodgy.. 

Let's be fair guys..... hidden prejudices have  come out  somewhat

Let's try and free ourselves from pre conceived notions and judging.. 

 

Hoping as much as everyone else our editions come soon.

I do have one request though, is that to keep the right expectations with us. Now I will personally wait for end of October for any update, and hope this can move on, but keep promises to what you know will happen and can't be tempered with anything outside of your control.

Last of all, thank you to this great community that I love and I'm comfy here, lots of nice people, that we can trust, and there's always solutions to problems! 

 

And in the end, I'll be able to say that getting this Indiana Jones boxset was a intense adventure!

Yes, Iran has very kind and hospitable people.
It is a country of four seasons with many and very rich natural resources, culture and civilization of several thousand years.
But unfortunately, after the revolution, it became a black dictatorship because of the incompetent new government, all of which are thieves, aggressors and looters.
You may not believe it, but here people are really under pressure and if someone protests, they kill him and threaten his family.
Everyone is depressed and sad, Iran is lost.
May God help the people of Iran.

I am not upset with anyone and I do not blame anyone, I just ask you to follow the situation in Iran in the news and internet to find out.
Unfortunately, my country is very different from your country, here American films, etc. are considered a crime. I can not easily send my packages and I have to do it through neighboring countries, which are currently closing their borders to Iran.
I'm looking for a way to send packages to Turkey so I can send them to you, even at a higher cost.
You may not understand my situation because you live in a free drawer, but I understand you.
I love my job very much and I do not lose it for money because I love it and I do not lose my art and personality for a few dollars.
Rest assured I will send your packages and we will work together again.

All administration stuff in any country is always a bit** and with the current situation even worse, I understand fully the challenges here and hope you'll be able to find something to get this done as I'm sure you're also stressed out not to be able to get this moving.   Many jobs here go bankrupt, such as cafes, wedding halls and restaurants
  And...

Neighboring countries have not yet given the exact news of the reopening of the border, but I spoke to a friend in Armenia and he said that the situation was getting better and that the border would be opened soon, and I was waiting and I was really tired.

Today, I was able to collect half of the packages (Game of Thrones) from a warehouse and send a photo of them to clear up any misunderstandings that may have arisen.
I will receive Indiana Jones packages from another warehouse until Saturday, Sunday and send them photos. I hope the misunderstanding about me disappears.
