News from D23 2022 (Andor Final Trailer, Mandalorian S3 Trailer and more!)

Hello all!

 

There's a bunch of news (and trailers!) that just came out of the D23 expo. Check it out!

 

• Andor is about to begin shooting its second season! Season 1 will focus on the same time period, but Season 2 will jump around a bit in 3 episode chunks. The final trailer for Season 1 was presented. 
• The Bad Batch Season 2 will premiere January 4, 2023!
• Tales of the Jedi is a 6 episode animated anthology series that will focus on providing some backstory for Ahsoka and Count Dooku. Each character will have 3 episodes dedicated to them. This will premiere in October 2022. Ashley Eckstein will return to voice Ahsoka and we will also see the return of a prequel era voice actor 😉
• Skeleton Crew wrapped filming yesterday and will star Jude Law. It is set in the age of the New Republic and focuses on a group of kids who get lost in the Star Wars universe. It is debuting in "Early 2023"
• There was a brief mention of Ahsoka. Hayden Christensen will return to play Anakin. Again, hearing "Early 2023" for a debut. 
• The Mandalorian Season 3 will premiere February 23, 2023!

It seems like 2023 will be a great year for Star Wars!

Just blow through Mando S2, Boba Fett, and Obi-wan. You can do that in a month and then cancel. Just an idea.
