What kind of a question is that, mate?

Of course we bloody do!

I could go for a doughnut (or three) right now actually.

There's a bakery near me that sells these delicious pineapple doughnuts.

So good.

Sorry mate I just do not know that much about Australia and everytime I hear your country’s name I think it is ALL the outback 😛

I appreciate that, mate.

With regards to my accent, it's hard to say. If you ask most people, they don't think they have an accent.

It's like if I asked you if your American accent is really strong.

I probably have what you would call a "general" accent; not unlike those of people like Hugh Jackman, Margot Robbie, etc.

If you can understand those people, you can probably understand me. 😄

Some have said I have a mid-west “Hoosier” drawl but like you IDK 🤷‍♂️

My wife says though I do not have an “accent” when I speak (remember though she has gotten use to my language for 36 years now 😂)…

I think the "strong" Aussie accent you're referring to is what's called a "broad" Australian accent.

Think of people like Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee.

That's an example of a very strong broad accent, almost stereotypical and the kind of accent most people associate with Australia.

Most Aussies speak with a "general" accent; which is quite neutral compared to the broad accent.

I’d love to visit your country so much & my “bucket list” if we could afford it (younger too! 😆) would be to see also the English sea coast towns as well as the English countryside, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, etc. all of the Scandinavian countries, Germany, France, Mexico, Italy, Spain, Canada… have I missed any, not asking for much am I 😛

Also so many beautiful states right here in my home country❣️
