Here's my opinion...because I have both editions...german DVD and spanish Blu-ray (Bootleg version).

BD is much more better than DVD. And I've seen "original sold" BD's with less quality than this bootleg. So if you want to have this movie as BD, it's absolut OK in my opinion.
I was interested as I read your posts some  minutes ago and I ripped both editions, DVD and Blu-ray to harddisk.

Here are just three simple images which show the difference (please disregard resolution, desktop settings etc.). just screenshots from PotPlayer saved in 1:1 resolution. Thats all.

I think it's pretty good. Definitely an upgrade from the DVD.

 

I was thinking of getting it. Something to tide me over until Fox/Jim Cameron decide on releasing it officially.

Klar sind die schnell vergriffen, allerdings weil DC vorne draufsteht und nicht wegen dem Film  

 

Mein Kommentar war übrigens als Scherz gemeint, falls die Aufklärung wirklich nötig ist.
