The search for WCL 2001 brought me to MP, but I am staying for everything else, loving everything I see 😍 Sadly, I have missed out on platinum membership - which generally aligns with my luck in timing 😑

 

Long time collector from the days of laser discs > DVDs > Steelbooks > Blu Rays and now UHDs.  Streaming cannot replace such items, and I will go down writing/saying that...indefinitely!

 

A couple of my most most sacred collection pieces below...they may not be steel, but they sure look like it😉

Btw, @Hal9000, you mentioned that the WCL edition of 2001 is what brought you here.

Did you score a copy?

If not, I thought I'd mention that we have a "Marketplace" here (you can see it annotated along the top black bar) and it provides a link to both our main Group Buy page and also, our  "Classifieds" (Sell/Buy) threads.

In the Sell thread, under "Special Editions" you will see that Chief- Cook-and- Bottle-Washer, @Masterblaster, has a copy of the WCL edition up for sale.

The price is not as crazy as EBay, that's for sure!

The WCL 2001 : A Space Odyssey is a very fine edition! 

 

You'll find that this is a fine lot of peeps who help/enjoy each other and the best thing I can tell ya, is to hold onto your wallet tightly   (and set up a spread-sheet, it has saved me wonders).
