  1. I’m not worried about getting that unless somehow it popped up at a reasonable price. Determined to let go of past editions I’ve missed, unless I feel like spending 400 dollars for handmaiden and other random out there editions.
  2. Yup. I got on the GB for both…despite not having that lenticular. But hoping my CX will fit or another premium 😂
  3. Okay MP’s, I’m torn. I received my Mad Max Quadrilogy. Now, I also own the Titans of Cult edition (I ditched the case long ago but I really like the Steelbook.) Do I sub out the box set version of Fury Road in favor of the Titans of Cult version, or accept a lesser version in favor of uniformity? The spine is slightly different. I’m torn!!! Or am I being a pyscho 😛
  4. Gosh I love the Plain Archive editions. I’m waiting for a copy of Master to pop up. And I’m waiting to watch Carol until after I’ve read the book (one of my favorite authors, Patricia Highsmith who also wrote Talented Mr. Ripley!)
  5. Okay boys, two big shipments today!! Blade Runner OC from Mantalabs. Big shout out to @Masterblasterand @deckard99for getting me this after a hiccup. And thanks for including the protection! This is my first one click. I don’t even know what to do with it! I’m scared to touch it. I don’t know which of the three to open. Usually I’m a full slip guy but each of these is so gorgeous. So no photos of the Steelbook until I decide which to open. I was planning on giving one edition to my dad since we saw the director’s cut together in theaters in Los Angeles. Next up is the Mad Max quadrilogy from Zavvi, which was delayed quite a bit. I actually got this just for the original trilogy. (I like the my Titans of Cult steel of Fury Road.) I don’t particularly care for the big tins these come in but this one isn’t bad at all, though I doubt I’ll keep it.
  6. I have a “friend date” at noon. Please just send out gold invites before then haha 🤣
  7. What a good idea! Congrats to those who were invited. Will cross my fingers for anymore space!
  8. Once I accepted that I didn’t need the outer packaging and goodies I became more accepting. I love my Mad Max and Clockwork Orange steels.
  9. Wow!! I couldn’t get into Ozarks. But I think I was burnt out on that dark green tint that seemed to be everywhere at the time. Maybe I should try again.
  10. Does anyone else have this issue: I’m watching the Sopranos and thus can’t watch anything else at the moment. I started during my bicycle trip - streaming episodes from my phone - and I’m about a season and a half until I’m finished but I’m just unable to watch anything else unless it’s in theaters. I think mentally I just can’t watch television dramas because of this. My brain can’t cope 😂
  11. I received my BluFans The Sting OAB a couple of days ago. Just like the previous two Hitchcock releases this one is just outstanding. So much texture and gloss. I’m going to wait to watch it with my Mom since it’s one of her favorite movies. Thanks for the group buy everyone!
  12. I watched Witness for the first time last night. I love how charismatic Ford used to be. He could convey so much while saying so little. Also a weird movie in that Danny Glover feels like a train station bathroom is the safest place to murder another cop. Maurice Jarre score was nice - it first sounded like it was gonna be Tangerine Dream- though completely dated it as a mid 80’s movie.
  13. Okay here are three editions of Lord of the Rings/Middle Earth I own. The one I push on everyone is the BBC Radio Adaption. It’s a radio drama version and it’s spectacular. It used to all be on YouTube for free but unsure if it is. Second is the Folio collection of Lord of the Rings. My ex bought me this for Christmas a few years ago and I was flabbergasted. It’s just so insanely beautiful, with artful drawings scattered throughout. Third is 50th anniversary edition of the Hobbit. This one speaks for itself. Gold baby!
  14. Question: Can we count our BluFans full slips as 2, since there are technically 2 slips 😉😛😏😏😏 asking for a friend…
  15. I ordered the limited direct but I’m going to order the Steelbook as a GB just so it can at least be packaged properly and hopefully arrive not damaged.
  16. I’m tempted to order the limited edition AND the Steelbook and put the steel inside. My Steelbook arrived damaged awhile back and it still bothers me as this is a favorite.
  17. Now that I’ve settled in to being home I’ll be trying to post more. I’m excited for the Sting and Vertigo! This Rear Window is so nice!
  18. My recent MP arrivals: - Rear Window Blufans - 2046 NovaMedia - Dawn of the Dead German edition This is my first Blufans edition and good golly is it nice!! The Steelbook itself is obviously the basic WWA but the slip and case are just top notch. Vertigo and Sting arrive next. The 2046 continues the nice string of high quality Nova W.K.W. with so much gloss it’s hard to even get a photo without seeing myself in the reflection.
  19. I’m excited for this since in theory it means I can just one Matrix (I don’t want the entire trilogy) and just the Dark Knight (don’t want the entire trilogy). But am VERY excited for the Prestige! And 2001.
  20. My submission for Stage 1. Here are 25 Full Slips. Several unopened because I just unboxed them. Points for America!
