Received my copies Wednesday. Caught the FedEx guy just as he was about to chuck them from the sidewalk up onto the porch.

I recognize the sound of the truck when it pulls up. I jumped up knowing it was FedEx and right as he was in motion to throw them I materialized on the other side of my front door on the porch asking him to please not throw those. It's not our usual guy who is much more respectful when delivering packages. He'll even stash them behind something so porch pirates don't walk off with your stuff.

I wish there's a restock but I highly doubt it so I may need to bite the bullet for the reseller rates unless/until I can get a Manta Lab or HD release.

I just followed the Gruv link and it appears to be in stock.

 

Question for folks who already got theirs: is Gruv who you ordered from?  Ordered mine from Amazon; they normally get me discs precisely on the release date but never early.

I didn’t try it, Amazon tells me my copy is coming on Tuesday.  I just clicked on the link out of curiosity.  Sorry.

For a movie this big there will probably be restocks.  It sold out quick so they will probably come back to that well

I sure hope so. I think I was busy the day the pre-order went live and have been SOL ever since. 

 

I would still prefer a premium version but I'll definitely get this version if I can get it at msrp value.

I have to believe there are going to be plenty of premium sets, I’m expecting premium sets with both movies.  Looking forward to owning one

I'm not so sure. Who else did a premium for part 1 other than Manta?

Manta’s the only one I know of off the top of my head. Hopefully they do Part Two (it’s Warner, so I’m guessing a Manta release is a safe bet).

Manta came out with Blue Beetle, Aquaman : The Lost Profits, and Wonka super quickly after the regular home releases. Hopefully, they'll do the same with Dune 2.

Good point.  Wish I’d gotten in on that one but it was before my time.  Kind of odd that there aren’t more, seems like the kind of movie that would sell well.

Nice catch! I was looking for mine but realized I pre-ordered this one from Walmart and not GRUV. I guess I have to wait until release day because if still hasn't shipped.

Part two arrived by mail a few days ago. Got lucky and found Part 1 in store (they weren’t put in the rack yet but a nice employee grabbed one for me) 😁

Oh, I also got my Part Two.  Can’t wait to watch it again.  Very shiny surface on the steel here, nice, hard to capture in photo.

Walmart. It's not listed as a Walmart exclusive but I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Maybe it's just luck but I haven't had any steels with spine slashes since Walmart took over from Best Buy.

Wish I hadn’t already put my son to bed, I’d keep him up late to run over to our nearest Walmart   Will have to try at lunch tomorrow and hope I get lucky.
