Okay here are three editions of Lord of the Rings/Middle Earth I own.

The one I push on everyone is the BBC Radio Adaption. It’s a radio drama version and it’s spectacular. It used to all be on YouTube for free but unsure if it is.

Second is the Folio collection of Lord of the Rings. My ex bought me this for Christmas a few years ago and I was flabbergasted. It’s just so insanely beautiful, with artful drawings scattered throughout.

Third is 50th anniversary edition of the Hobbit. This one speaks for itself. Gold baby!

Finally posting my collection here. Took 3 months for the correct Children of Hurin edition to come in after one vendor sent the wrong copy then strung me along for weeks until I grabbed it somewhere else. SO many more editions I'd love to get my hands on, but I'm pretty pleased with these! And can't wait to add those gold label LOTR boxes to the shelf!

I don't believe we have this info yet. If you follow the release thread and the info and questions thread for this release you'll hear about any updates soon after they get announced.

Love your collection! Making me want to add the rest of those slipcover editions of the books to my own. I only have Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales so far from those but they are so quality.

Where did you get the Argonath bookends? I've eyed several versions for myself but keep running into reviews about very questionable quality.

I got mine off ebay with a Fellowship Extended DVD collector's edition set.

I think I eyed that option. Are they actually fairly heavy? How tall are they? Would love to find a pair that actually sit as tall as the books. So many I find are such shorties which is underwhelming for what they are modeled after lol. If those are the best option though I'm going to have to hunt them down!

Here's a pic of mine that I have to hand. They feel pretty chunky, not too sure what they're made of though but it feels substantial.

Awesome thanks! I do wish they were taller but might have to grab them regardless just because they're so sweet and seem about the best quality I've seen.

Yeah I have the same. They are made by Sideshow Weta. They are made of polystone.

They do have some weight to them. I like them. They could be a bit taller for sure, but they nice. You got to watch out for the fakes. A lot of them out there.
