@Maksood most 4k discs are suppose to be region free, however I have found out it can depend on your blu-ray player also (that is why I advise anyone to get a multi-region player that is 4K appropriate also! ). 🙌

@Maksood  I agree with the others that this should be region free. I've heard of a few isolated cases of 4k discs being region locked, but it's very very rare. In any case, the studio is Universal and they don't even region lock their Blu-rays, so I think we can be pretty confident here.

The only machine so far that has given me problems w/some 4K discs is my SEIKI 4K up-converting

I see the problem here. That's actually a digital scale, not a 4k player. No wonder it's giving you problems! 😜
