What about region code discs? Do the players have a region lock or do they play everything? Find nothing on the net (except that there are region free hacks and they will probably not exist for no reason). 

 

The Sony UBP-X700 I have is region free when it comes to playing blu-ray discs.

 

4K discs aren't limited by region coding, so you don't have to worry about whether or not overseas discs will play on your machine.

der Panasonic spielt nur Region 2 Blurays, DVD´s funktionieren alle.

Gemini Man was one of the last few films I & my girlfriend had a chance to see before COVID-19. I remember that most of the movies at the time that we saw wasn’t all that enjoyable so this turned out to be a real pleasant surprise.
 

I went in not knowing what the movie was about. I have heard the complaints about the film & while some of the criticism is valid it wasn’t enough to hinder our enjoyment. I requested two copies on our GB so I can have both Wills facing off against each other 😁.

For me personally, garbage is the 4k presentation. Either in 3D (best option) or the normal Bluray.

The 60fps version is technically perfect, but the picture has nothing to do with the cinema feeling 🤮

I would assume that the 4k for this movie would be really good. If I’m remembering right 3d is how we saw it in the theater & the effects was nice besides a couple scenes.

The movie is so bad that I pondered for a whole week about it.
 

 

For a little while I couldn’t let it go. I’ve watched it like 3 times trying to figure out what happened. I will say though there are a few scenes in the film that stand out, but when they are watched together as a whole film....

If you buy that many versions it’s because of the nice poster art that comes with the film. The artwork accompanying with this film is damn near the only good thing about it 😂

Zum Bild. Ja, für die Schärfe mag das gelten, da ist es absolute Referenz. Ansonsten ist es totaler Müll. Hab die Scheibe ja schon. Kann man nicht anschauen. Es sei denn natürlich du stehst auf brasilianische Telenovelas. Dann kannst du es mal versuchen. Liegt daran, dass es im Moment die erste und zum Glück auch einzige Scheibe ist, die mit HFR 60 fps aufwartet. Gedreht wurde er sogar in 120 fps. Wenn ich realistisches  Fernsehen will schalte ich Hartz4 TV ein, wobei das schon ein Widerspruch in sich ist🤔.

I think they arent joking. I bought a few Blue Underground UHDs and the pricetag is always quite steep in the beginning. Best thing is to wait it out.

Prices for Maniac, Zombie, New York Ripper,  Daughters of Darkness all decreased 30 % after a while...
