Good afternoon everyone.

 

I'm glad Blufans is announcing more titles. Lately this was getting very poor: Blufans few releases. HDZeta very few releases, Filmarena with releases that are not released, Plan Archive very few but very good, MLIFE is not as active as before, Fanatic are missing in combat and KimchiDVD no longer exists as exclusive collectors editions, and more or less active frequently we have few labels left: Nova, UHD Club, WCL, Mantalab, and some more.

 

Then there are retailers like MAG or Broad Nation, but those are special cases.

 

It's funny, in the end one of the most active now is Raro and Cinemuseum. 

 

Also, I'm glad that Mantalab is going to give us another edition of ‘2001, a Space Odyssey’. Although, instead of releasing an edition of this film, they could do more Kubricks, there are a lot of them waiting (wow, Black Barons' “A Clockwork” has been delayed for almost a year now!!!).

With this, there will be a Collector's Edition of 2001, Clockwork, Spartakus, Full Metal Jacket, and The Shining. Oh, and there's also a Raro one of ‘Eyes Wide Shut’. Then there are: Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, Paths of Glory, Barry Lindon, Killer's Kiss and The Killing. 

 

In the case of Eyes Wide Shut I hope for another collector's edition someday, and Full Meta Jacket has more to come.

I'm glad about that edition of ‘The silence of the lambs’. The Hannibal Lecter films have a huge following, and, I don't know why, they have never been well treated as collectors' items.

 

By the way, wasn't MAG going to publish an Lambs edition, or am I wrong?
