You already have a nice collection! I think it's better to collect what you love and not worry about the numbers.

Just paid invoice.  Presumably it gets shipped to my paypal shipping address.

Curious about "misc pp fees" being 13.00 and an additional 13.00 for "shipping".  Was this intended?   (Yeah I know another newbie question...)

Hi @fred all the fees are explained in the GB rules which you confirmed reading when you joined the GB. Please remember that international shipping to our HUBs and then shipping from HUB to you is the responsibility of the member, as are PayPal fees and the small GB fee we collect to keep the lights on. I’m assuming this is for all 5 editions you requested. Anyway, if you have any further questions please feel free to send me a PM

I only started collecting SteelBooks about a year ago when Alien and Annihilation were released. Since then I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of repurchasing many existing titles in my collection with SBs either new or second hand as well as a few new purchases from Mantalab and Nova.

I also still buy regular blu rays and sometimes dvd when this is necessary in completing a director-centric mini collection like John Carpenter or Martin Scorsese.

After various other forums led me here, and now that my initial buying frenzy has died down somewhat, I’m hoping to get in front of some of the upcoming premium releases rather than desperately trying to find reasonable prices on eBay months afterward and take a more measured approach to collecting, if such a thing exists.

Thanks, and looking forward to reading the discussions, participating in some group buys, and getting the hang of this site.

Welcome @Mattrivers95 😁 Yes, taking a measured approach is a great idea. Wallet shock is a real thing when invoices start rolling in 😬 and real life has troublesome habit of getting in the way sometimes.

    Hi @ksosk @extantsrevenge

Ive been an instant fan of WeET even before they went solo, but notice that there’s is very little noise out there about what’s on the horizon. Just wondered if you guys were aware of any 2020 plans from them?

I’ll stick my nose in here 🤥. Weet is going strong and I think 2020 will be a great year for them. They have several titles in the works but nothing that can officially announced yet.

I'm not sure the best place to ask this question so here I am. And btw, yes, I did go to the Blufans area but it seemed all the Topics were pertaining to releases and I didn't want to muddy that up. Anyway...

For the first Marvel Blufans releases did they not offer one-clicks? I'm specifically talking about these 5:

    1. Thor
    2. Thor: The Dark World
    3. Captain America: The First Avenger
    4. Captain America: The Winter Solider
    5. Iron Man

They all released with a Lenticular version and a 1/4 Slip version. But it seems this was before one-clicks were a thing. So there was really no way of getting matching numbers between the two versions, correct?

    Thanks in advance!

Well, this is before my time but I don't believe one clicks exist for these titles.

In the early days things were different. Just single releases

Then multiple editions came along but still no box

Do you have an estimate for the pricing of the full set of 3 with box? Just want to know what to expect so I won't be caught unaware.

FA hasn’t published a retail price for the box yet, but they do list the prices for the 3 editions, so adding those together should be a fair estimate, roughly 4200 CZK. This doesn’t include shipping and GB fees.

@deckard99 Has there been any new updates regarding invoicing of the single editions?

Unfortunately, the release of this edition is running behind. Last I heard FA plans to complete production of all editions this month and next month. Invoices should be pretty soon but I'm afraid I can't give you an exact date. Best to set aside your pennies now!

  8. When I was a kid I loved HO slot cars. I had a pretty big track on a table with fake grass, and lots of buildings, trees, and little plastic people. I used to love building, fixing, and maintaining the cars (they had to be oiled inside and had magnets, brushes, gears, tires, and electrical parts needing constant maintenance). The tracks were black plastic sections that could be changed and swapped at will, with straight, curved, criss-cross, and other track varieties. I don't have any pictures of my own set, but here are some examples I found to give you an idea.
