Honestly… I’m totally down with that. My Marvel WEAs all get opened but the discs are very rarely played at this point, partly due to being behind the times in terms of set up (Old TV) and mostly down to a Disney+ subscription. Would also warrant a reduction in price… right? 😂

Good Morning Team. 20 years ago today I was a young man at work when the unthinkable news broke. I will never forget sitting on my parents couch that night and how incredibly stunned I was that something as terrible as this could happen as the world tried to take in what had just happened. I’ve not looked at the DL prices recently, but I managed to land the Blufans 1/4 slip at an insanely good price not long ago. Believe it or not, it really is a buyers market right now for the older (non 4K) releases. Just hang in there and set up a search. That’s what I did. I actually own both Nova releases. The WWA is the nicer slip, and as proud as I am to own the WEA offering, it just didn’t cut the mustard for my display purposes so I had to hunt out a Blufans. That’s why I went the 1/4 slip route, to keep the price down and because I knew I was opening it and displaying it. That said, if WeET decide to throw their hat in the ring, then I am 100% in for that too.

Also… Venom 2 is a very decent shout.

Just get yourself a Novamedia WWA full slip, a Blufans WEA 1/4, flog the WWA steel and bobs your uncle! 😂👍🏼

I see everyone is going the MCU route despite recently receiving the Sony Spideys, which I may add, WeET haven’t given us WEAs for Homecoming & FFH…..Oh did I say that out loud? just a thought 😉 But, I would honestly LOVE it, if they delivered a Blade Trilogy (Following the Sony route) or even the Tim Story F4’s. Rise of the Silver Surfer STILL hasn’t had a stand alone steel release.

Thanks mate. There’s always another steelbook, or a better condition comic, or another rare Pop! to hunt out, but I’m delighted (and somewhat relieved) that I have completed hunting out the last of the Marvel WEA’s on my hit list. I still do not own Blufans Iron Man, The First Avenger or The Winter Soldier, but I am honestly not fussed as I have (& prefer) Kimchi’s efforts. Really need someone to step up and release a decent IM3 & Antman & the Wasp now, but the focus will switch back to comics and Pops on the hit list now. Lockdown has been kind to me in that I have added Blufans Thor, The Dark World, GotG & Ant-Man. All sealed, all 1/4 slip, all at a fantastic price, and all opened and added to the display. 😊👍🏼

This one is an Important arrival, as it signifies the last missing MCU title in a WEA format for the display. Been watching these at £130 - £150 for the last couple of years, but in the end landed one for less than half that. 😊 I had the opportunity to secure one of these wayyyy back when MP ran a GB, and even recall discussing the artwork with @Basil but I opted for the Nova release preferring their slip (Still do). That was before the collection and display took hold of me, but very happy that I finally own one. Open and display pics will follow. 👍🏼

That’s Awesome mate, cheers. 🍻 The Irony is that this movie will be the FIRST MCU release that I WON’T be buying a standard WWA release. I’ve really been trying to curb the spending on needless additions, and in truth this movie really wasn’t all that. I was literally just looking through the boxes of WWAs under the bed and trying to convince myself to sell them. Eeeeeek 😬 For Black Widow I’ll just sit tight until a premium, hopefully a WEA. 👍🏼
