  1. Okayyyyyyyyy..... that’s a very strange rule but fair enough. Surely calling 2-0 and it ends 3-0 is a closer call than calling 2-0 and it finishes 3-1?! 🤣🤣 But whatevs. 🤷🏼‍♂️😁
  2. It’s the goal difference bit I don’t get.
  3. I still don’t understand this scoring system 😂 But who cares, just great chatting with all you guys. 👍🏼
  4. @Jaksu @Caktus26 Although I am Leeds, I live in Norwich so I know ALL about Teemu Pukki 😉 Great player! 🇫🇮 @serg50 Are you watching mate? 🇷🇺
  5. Also just recalled the two tone black Croatia away shirt. Very Nice also.
  6. I am a self confessed sucker for white and blue, but it is so crisp and clean.
  7. Hmmmmmm.... Best shirts in Euro 2020? Your thoughts please people? I am not a fan of the shirt that Spain played in earlier this week. Thought the France shirt was pretty decent, but I think this Finland shirt is my fav that I have seen so far.
  8. Some decent banter and posts on here.... But I expected soooooo much more between you. How are you all still friends? How has MP not imploded?! 😂😂😂 That was a solid game of tactics. Often the way in an opening game. For me Germany knew they had to keep the pacey French out, hence the 5 at the back. Wing backs barely got out of their own half in the first 45. Again, likely instructed to keep it at 0-0 at half time. Never even changed their shape despite chasing the game. The goal allowed France to take their foot off the gas and keep something in the tank, purely hitting Germany on the break. For me, France have a lot more to give than we just witnessed. Now at 1-0 down Germany has to get forward. We finally see the wingbacks getting forward and Löw makes the changes to bring some pace on. Essentially though, much like Spain, Germany were found lacking up front. France however looked solid at the back, and scary as hell up front when Mbappe pulls the trigger. As for “its a shame those 3 teams are in the same group” What kind of nonsense is that?! They all get the same opportunities as everyone else to get out. I bet all 3 manage it anyway with a best placed 3 place. As an Englishman, I fear all 3. We have a terrible record against France, Germany and Portugal, but right now I’d have to say Germany would be my preferred next round opponent. 🤷🏼‍♂️ But I will reiterate, I would still fear them.
  9. For what it is worth, I am backing France over Germany. But given my predictions so far, that could be the kiss of death. 😂
  10. Hello Psycho’s. 👋🏼🤓 I have decided to start my own thread in which I will share New Arrivals, Opened Premiums and a host of Marvel goodies along the way. I will also share my display updates here as I add new Marvel WEA’s and display items, and I will seek to post some pics of older items in my collection as I have time. Thanks for viewing. 🍻
  11. This game is quite fascinating. You fully expect Spain to score and win (I am with you @Noir21 & @Casiusco) But I can equally see Sweden nicking this. Can you feel it @R1s1ngs0n? 😁
  12. Its called “Tiki Taka” football. No really, it is! Google it 😁
  13. In all honesty, the trouble with these types of games is that it is just blind luck. Especially in the opening matches. And by the time the group stages are over, if you are not in touching distance of the leaders then it’s over. Fair play to those at the top, but I think this will quickly turn into a 4 or 5 man competition. All good fun though and still very thankful for Nils and Tom for pulling it together. If nothing else, it has given me a platform to talk Footy in a Media forum. 😁👍🏼
  14. The more I think about it the better Sweden should have faired over the years really. Freddie Ljungberg, Seb Larssen. Obviously Zlatan. My club had Teddy Lucic on loan one season and he was a good footballers also. I did not know that about Larsson’s son! Is he also a striker?
  15. I feel like I am out of touch with Sweden as a team. I used to really like a lot of their players. Anyone remember Kim Kallstrom? Great player. And of course Henrick Larson! They have produced some terrific players over the years. I have a feeling Sweden will surprise a few people this tournament.
  16. @JiumJium @R1s1ngs0n Winning is SO over rated. Now drinking.... Drinking is where it’s at! 😂🍻
  17. Another odd fact for you all, Scotland has a proud Yorkshireman starting today in the form of Liam Cooper. 😁 Pretty sure he is the only player in the team who doesn’t have a Scottish accent! 😂 He is eligible to play for Scotland through his Granddad. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  18. Happy Birthday Bro!!! @LeGonze Wishing you a Fantastic day my man. 🍻 @Hollywood E Rock One word. Yacht...... Yacht...... YACHT!!!! 😱🤪🥰
  19. I am massively in the minority when it comes Jack (Shocker - I don’t favour popular opinion 😂). He has undoubted talent, but will he put in a cross for Big Harry to score? Or is he far more likely to go to ground or pass it back in the hope of a 1-2. He infuriates me tbh. All anyone in the media ever bangs on about is how he is the most fouled player in the Prem In the last two seasons. He was also the most fouled player in the Championship 3 years ago. Basically, he goes looking for it and is constantly going to ground. Don’t get me wrong, he is Very clever in how he goes about it, but when Kane is looking for crosses, and we leave our best dead ball specialist at home, I am not convinced that Grealish is the right peg for the hole.
  20. Listen, I am not going to get ahead of myself and think England are better than we all know them to be, but I will say yesterday’s team selection and performance was absolutely spot on. Every man and his dog has been calling for Jack Grealish to start, and most bemoaned playing a RB at LB, but I have faith in Southgate. For me, the only thing preventing us from the quarters, is our ability to implode against Portugal & Germany. That said, most of this young squad doesn’t have a history with Internationals so should have no fear. Time will tell I guess, but I am fearful of Scotland on Friday. That one has 1-1 written all over it. 😁
  21. Thanks @romain 👍🏼 I was blown away. Totally lost count of how many beer I sank during the game, let alone the day. 😂 But How Good was Phillips?! I mean, apparently there was some decent old timer on the pitch, Luca something? Luca Mod.... ahh what ever, all I saw was a proud Yorkshireman finally arrive and announce himself on the international stage. 😂 Now I just have to hope he doesn’t play himself into a big money transfer away from Elland Road. 🤭😁🍻
  22. So after a very satisfying performance from England, and especially Mr. Phillips (110% Man of the Match, not sure what game UEFA we’re watching?) and although a good performance from Alioski, not the result North Macedonia wanted. Then it’s on to another day of great interest for me, with Liam Cooper hopefully starting for Scotland, Mateusz Klich playing for Poland, and then maybe Diego Llorente playing for Spain. I actually can’t remember the last time my club had so many internationals playing in one tournament. Gives it’s a whole new and exciting perspective for a change. Tips are in, sure they will be wrong, but Football is the Winner. 🧀🧀😂 ps. Not sure why you’re so salty @R1s1ngs0n England were THAT good at keeping possession and pressing yesterday, that Croatia COULDN’T create an attack. 😉😂👍🏼
