If they cut the price in half I might consider it. Disney continuing to milk it. I seem to remember a 3 movie steelbook set in the past as well.

Mine came yesterday. I must wait for the cat to open and pics.
I think the front is supposed to be glow in the dark, has anyone had a chance to really check. I tried just sort using my hand to see if anything glowed but it didn’t really work.
it does look very nice though next to the UHD club box I will say. It even came with a protector.
Son of a gun, it does glow in the dark. Very cool. Only pic of it glowing in the dark my phone captured well was the back, but front and sides glow as well after exposed to light.

It wasn't for Steelbooks license.
You sure about that. The statement that got deleted said that they were mainly getting the license to make Marvel steelbooks. Obviously, it was deleted, but the purpose of the statement seemed straight forward. Hopefully, that gets clarified soon.

Hey guys, you are having this conversation in the wrong thread. I post updates in the I&Q thread, so that is where you need to look for all matters related to our MP group buy. Release threads are for discussion the movie, editions, art, etc. Not for shipping updates!
@upmaniac @Simone @Edwin Carroll @AlexanderTheMan @TechSpec924
@deckard99when the Jaws CM group buy opened I had never even heard of Media Psychos nor premiums. I would have definitely preferred purchasing it through the group buy, but that wasn't a possibility. If we can't post direct shipping updates in the release thread, then where can we post those, as doesn't seem like they would be desired in the group buy and info thread? If you don't want these posted I will avoid posting them, but it does limit the conversations among Media Psycho members (as many missed on the group buy). Thanks for your response.

Both are live
Be aware the collectors edition is nearly £50
I'm voting with my feet at that price it's a joke nearly 20 pounds more
When other ones have been 10 pound more.
Not mugging me 👍
Same price as the Dr. Strange one was. More than even SM life was charging when they released Disney slips, but SM life actually put some effort into it with embossing and other effects. Unfortunately easy pass. 😥

Arrow knocking it out of the park. Can't rember even seeing this movie, but the artwork is fantastic. Will definitely have to look further into this one.

Not a bad looking steelbook. Not a big fan of the border, but I guess they want to match the prior releases. Speaking of that, what about the Ragnarok one with a border. Zavvi was the only retailer to sell that, and now aftermarket they are going for pretty high prices. Where is the consistency? You would expect Best Buy to release that Ragnarok too, but at this point seems pretty doubtful.

Doctor Strange was just average, nice sturdy slip box, standard finish on the artwork, let down by the printed banner and age logos.
Agree, I would be so in for this if it lacked the 4K banner and age ratings. Sadly, I think we all know the chance of that is pretty slim. Darn Disney, releases nice artwork on the slip, and then ruins it.

They could make it three slips wide. Two for the movie whole slip for the cat…please? kitty needs a home.
The One Click box just arrived today, and it is exactly the same size as the boxes that carry 3 slips. Instead of a 3rd slip there is a gray piece of foam in its place. Not sure how that cat is going to sit in the box. Will have to wait and see. 🤔

Just arrived from Zavvi. This is a very impressive release from Warner Brothers. The steelbook colors are too dark, but I have the Best Buy steelbook as well, and the UK one has a better finish with some metallic effects (very little in the Tomorrow and the armor but there is some while Best Buy one has none). But other than the steelbook, this release is stunning. Slip is nice and sturdy and colors and artwork are excellent. Would have preferred the title to be on the front and on the spine of the slip instead of on the PET slip, but still very happy with this release.

Gorgeous, thanks @R1s1ngs0n. I do like the picture of the Bonds looking down the barrel, but you do bring up a good point that the faces are blurry. This one looks incredible. I have changed my mind. @goose_3387 please instead use this picture to create my signature. The signatures you have created for everyone have looked awesome. Thanks so much for all of your work!

@goose_3387 I wanted to see if you could create a signature for me with all the Bond actors with the picture below. Thanks so much!

I really like Manta's approach with these regular updates, I don't think anyone is going to be mad at them for wanting to create the best possible product. Just having an update every few weeks is nice to know that they're busy working on it and haven't forgotten. Manta is the example many retailers should be striving to follow!
I agree with @Sidewinder. Manta or Collectong is providing updates nearly every month. Obviously, sometimes those updates end up being too optimistic, but they always apologize if something ends up not working and then provide updates on the new expectations. We never end up having to go months and months (or years) with no updates. It definitely shows they value their customers, and I feel the customers really appreciate that (I know I do).

Technically it has a slight shadow of the front in the back. I agree it is mostly blank😥
-
Yay! Some of these are starting to have some kind of artwork on the back (as minor as the circles on Dr. No), but after the first 4 had nothing (Man with the Golden Gun, Octopussy, A View To A Kill, and Moonraker) was worried they all would. Licence to Kill, The World is Not Enough, and Tomorrow Never Dies actually have some artwork on the back. I consider this a little win.

I know @extantsrevenge will agree with me on this one.
Another scene that had that "Wow" factor and made me absolutely terrified of a villain/henchmen was this scene in "The Spy Who Loved Me".
This was the first James Bond movie I'd ever seen as a kid. It was being shown on television and I'd started watching it from this point on.
Needless to say I was hooked. It remains one of my favourite Bond films and one of my favourite action/adventure movies.
Best of the Roger Moore Bond films by far. I concur, awesome scene.

I read about the story... it deals with drug addiction, marriage and suicide by addiction... the original track was actually 16 minutes long until they cut it to a lil over 9 minutes
I remember it always being on MTV or VH1s best music video list, and remember them commenting about how sweet it was with the marriage and everything, and then the music changes and all of a sudden they are at the funeral. Maybe that other 7 minutes would have explained more of what you mentioned.

Rip Chris Cornell indeed.. this was probably one of his best and weirdest MV
Familiar with the song. Never seen the video. What in the world. @Squeegie McGee takes the award for submitting the weirdest music video I have ever seen. Not sure that can be topped.

Being a Marvel fanatic, one of the best music videos for me is Sound Garden Live to Rise. R.I.P Chris Cornell. The mini movie was basically a summary/trailer of the first Avenger movie which is still one of my favorite movies.

Dune (4K UHD/2D Blu-ray Steelbook) (E.Leclerc Exclusive) [France]
in E. Leclerc

I see the orange and the light blue Dune steelbooks have been restocked at some retailers, but has this one been restocked anywhere other than Game Stop?
