Tron: Legacy (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital) [USA]

Looks like it might be a Disney+ streaming exclusive, at least at first. According to The Digital Bits

"Director Joseph Kosinski has recently revealed (in a Watch-a-Long YouTube podcast with Happy Sad Confused) that he’s recently completed a new 4K Ultra HD remaster of Tron: Legacy (2010). That’s the good news. The bad news is that—as far as we know—Disney currently has no plans to release it on physical 4K disc. Most likely it’s going to end up on Disney+ instead. Anyway, Kosinski’s Tron: Legacy comments start about 29 minute in."

I understand why Disney would want to release it on streaming first. If that's the only option we get I'll take it, but would still be very upset if it never comes to disc! 😭

I’m guessing it’ll be too much to ask for a 4K combo pack of the first Tron along with Legacy like they did for the blu-ray release… 😔

This would be ideal for sure!

Tron: Ares is about to start filming I believe, so it's possible we get a combo pack off all 3 films once it gets its home release. There's no set release date for Ares yet, but given it will likely spend alot of time in post production, I would anticipate a mid 2025 cinema release at the earliest.
