steelbook creation

hello there art lovers!,

 I'm new here,

for quite a while I've been in custom graphic designs and i make designs myself which in the coming future will be uploaded here to show.

I've recently decided to create Steelbooks by my own from scratch.

As a first step i literally started working on building a 3d model printed on a tin material with sizes and shapes as exactly as a Steelbook,

my initial delusional thought was that I thought it would be easy and results came in and was nothing to compare near a Steelbook

for the last few weeks i bust my a** to create a great Steelbook from 2 plates of tin and of course a spine,

all works was done in my friends business, he owns a successful printing house and has all required tools.

Also besides 3d industrial printers he also own a laser printer which will of course going to print my artworks on the Steelbook but that's not my issue here as the issue is building the 3d modeled Steelbook.

Unfortunately as of today nothing worked for me.

Therefore i think its the right place to ask for help,

does anyone here has knowledge on printing in 3d industrial printers and can guide me a bit?

those who wants to wish me to leave it and just to print on an existing Steelbook,
i would kindly refuse to it as i already have the required material's and tools for the printing to work, just need help by designing it accurately.

main example in what I'm having trouble with design is the curved shape sizes in the middle of the 2 plates to open the Steelbook. (Photo attached for example)
