It’s worth noting here that Turbine’s 2019 4K release not only lacked HDR, but it had some rather wonky encoding issues. That’s why they’ve emphasized in the announcement that the encoding was done by a company more up to the task.

 

I’ve personally loved all of Turbine’s 4K releases, though their first go at Texas Chainsaw was a bit bungled. This new one will most likely look incredible.
