the plugin here @MP is from giphy.com

so you can also use giphy.com directly and search, fetch and insert a gif link from their page easily.

 just open a new browser tab and go to giphy.com

1. in the search field, enter the term you're searching for (e.g. "minion") and hit enter.

2. you get a list of gifs which are assigned to your search term.

 

3. Now move your mouse cursor on the gif you want a click the "chain" (link) button which pops up. link to the pic will then copied into the clipboard.

 

4. now just go to your MP forums post ein press "STRG+V" (insert) and your done;

thank you Mike but it's not the different pages of gifs, it's only on MP, when you click on the gif square at the top of the comment page, it no longer offers anything, does it do it to you too?

Yes @bilbon I have known MP’s giphy has been down for some time now, that is why I use the giphy app directly for now until MP’s is fixed my friend!
