Quentin Tarantino is quietly starting to put together his latest project, and is talking to A-list actors for what is promising to be a unique take on the Manson Family murders.

The project, whose title is unknown, was written by Tarantino, who would also direct. Harvey and Bob Weinstein, who have produced and executive produced the previous Tarantino films, are involved, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

This could be very interesting knowing Tarantinos style and Manson Familys infamous deeds. Very early in production so, many things can change.

The film Wonderland stuck fairly close to whats known facts wise, but wasn't a brilliant film, although great performance by Kilmer as John Holmes.

From reading comments of QT's mates on Twitter this looks like it will be more like The Devils Rejects, looking at Manson and his followers inside the compound, possiblly ending with the murders.

Quentin Tarantino’s Manson Family Movie Is Rumored To Be Pulling From His ‘Kill Bill 3’ Script

Brad Pitt: Tex Watson Jennifer Lawrence: Susan Atkins Margot Robbie: Sharon Tate Harvey Keitel is playing Manson as on old man, which aspects of the story are told through him.

[Young Manson is not featured]

The film will take place briefly before the murders begin and the twist will be that Sharon Tate survives and hunts down/murders the whole family.

It will have lots of references to The Fearless Vampire Killers which she stared in.

Tarantino gave up on Kill Bill 3 and converted elements to be adapted in this story.
It is heavily influenced by The Last House on the Left & Straw Dogs.

Gotta love these clueless blogs. It's already been confirmed that it's Jen Lawrence playing Sharon. Sharons sister publicly spoke in the media and is pleased with the casting. Robbie is playing someone else "if she's even officially cast" 

If he's looking at Straw Dogs and Last House, the murdrers are gonna be GRAPHIC beyond belief. Both those films were cut by many countries and only released uncut decades later when only film buffs would be interested.
