I’m proud to say I own all UHD Club releases. They are all amazing and the extras from @ksosk make them even more special. As a matter of fact, seeing the beauty shots for UHD Club Wonder Woman was the catalyst for me finding MP and I never looked back!

I haven't heard of this movie so I checked out some youtube videos and it looks really great. The animation is awesome and the story is very interesting too. The artwork and package are really top notch on this edition, so I'm down for at least one (and maybe two!) 😁👍

@ethnosax All retailers struggle with this issue. Studios tend to be very restrictive and retailers fight as much as possible to get artwork approved. Use of alternate artwork is very hard to get approved and my guess is that it has to do with money (higher or additional payments to artists vs. artwork done in-house). In this case it took over a year to get the purple artwork approved. And I see art in the beauty shot that was only available with certain Japan and UK releases as well. We’ll see if anything new can be added but I think this release is already fantastic.

The next membership cycle will probably start in August. A tiered membership will certainly help but don't forget that each HUB will only have a certain quantity. You may have missed this post? Collector numbers certainly aren't for everyone. You really gotta be dedicated to the retailer. For every Jaws there's a Secret Life of Pets 2. For those who can commit it's great, They can build a collection going forward with all editions having the same number. And of course it's great for FA too. It's really up to each individual member and their tastes as to whether or not a number is worth it for them.

All releases. Any skipping jeopardizes your number. As for the future, members come and go, or stop buying, so numbers will probably become available from time to time.

It's hard for me to understand anyone complaining about paying a membership fee when the savings on ONE single edition can easily exceed the annual fee. Anyone is free to buy on the secondary market but you're still "paying to play", just in a different manner.

I can appreciate your trepidation wrt the Steel's art.

I think the small, almost obscure bullet hole in the tie adds a distinct bit of flavour to it but it is indeed rather mundane otherwise.

I always feel a touch of sympathy for the releasing agents, as getting art approval from studios is so very difficult many times. 🙁

I think the accompanying slip and assorted 'naff could make up for it, I guess we'll see. 🙂
