CHALLENGE 30 The Villains Thanks @extantsrevenge for this fun challenge! 1. DARTH VADER Star Wars - The most iconic villain in the history of cinema. 2. ODDJOB Goldfinger - My favorite Bond villain just for the sheer absurdity of his deadly bowler. 3. THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS - No, not Buffalo Bill . . . but, Hannibal Lecter, the charming psychopath. 4. ANTONIO SALIERI - In reality, he was way more popular and respected than Mozart in the late 18th century. But in the movie, he is possibly the most humanized villain in all of cinema. He is the patron saint of all us "mediocrities" and in a haunting moment he absolves all of us for being mere humans, hiding in the shadows of the rare geniuses. 5. JACOBIM MUGATU (Jacob Moogberg) - Yeah, he didn't get the credit he deserved for inventing the piano key necktie, so he's got a score to settle. No frothy lattes please.
