  1. OMG I Loved this! 🤣😂😂😂😂 This is exactly how us Brits believe Americans grow up 😂😂😂👌🏼
  2. To be completely honest, I keep forgetting about it entirely so hopefully that will help as I’ve given very little thought in terms of expectations 😄 I’m equally not expecting huge things from Guardians 3 either. I know these have something of a cult following now, especially with those who perhaps weren’t big Marvel fans before the MCU, but both Vol 1 & 2 took time to grow on me. There are moments where I find Chris Pratts portrayal highly amusing, but there are also moments I find him super frustrating feel he is just over acting and being a general C*ck. I am looking forward to Quantumania but mostly to see Johnathan Majors bring it. And I am actually really looking forward to Secret Wars on Disney+ without trying to get too far ahead of myself. I have a feeling this is going set up some exciting questions. 🤞🏼
  3. Marvel Comics Celebrates 100 Years of Disney with Variant Covers Starring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and More Check out the next three covers in the year-long variant cover program that puts a Disney twist on iconic Marvel Comics moments. The Walt Disney Company will mark its 100th anniversary in 2023 and will celebrate the incredible storytellers, creators, and fans who, together, spark the magic and wonder of Disney. Disney100 is a celebration of that journey and will bring new experiences with beloved characters around the globe, and Marvel Comics will be marking the occasion with a special monthly DISNEY100 VARIANT COVER PROGRAM featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and more. The variant program in honor of Disney100 will celebrate Marvel’s past, present, and future through the classic “What If” lens, with a fantastic reimagining of Marvel’s most classic comic book covers. While the initial trio of these first-of-its-kind art pieces paid homage to the foundational stories of the Marvel Universe, the next set will celebrate some of Marvel’s more modern game changing stories! See Disney’s iconic characters immersed in pivotal moments of the Marvel mythos, including the earth-shattering 90s event INFINITY GAUNTLET, the debut of the lineup of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes that would define the 2000s in NEW AVENGERS #1, and the transformative journey Tony Stark went on in the pages of INVINCIBLE IRON MAN. With 12 covers in total, fans can look forward to a new Disney100 variant cover (also available in Black and White versions) hitting stands each month of 2023 at local comic book shops. 5. I used to avoid ALL MCU trailers until recently, but I got sick of either reading something or a mate talking to me about them that I just gave in 😂
  6. Hi Guys, Sorry I’ve been a bit slack recently in here! New Years resolution needs to be to up my game again 😄 Just dropped…
  7. I Added this to my watch list a couple of nights ago. I’m always pleased to see someone else say they’ve really enjoyed something. I’ve watched too many bad ones recently 😄 Looking forward to this one now 👍🏼
  8. Funnily enough, when finalising this little list I had a feeling that you may identify with my choices more than most 😄👍🏼
  9. Media Psychos Challenge #16: It's so hard to choose! Thank you @Chief_lookout for this Evil Challenge 😄👍🏼 As repeatedly mentioned by others in recent posts, a Top 10 is an almost impossible task. But in the interest of pondering & procrastinating no longer, going purely off identifying those movies that I will happily watch again and again, and presented in chronological order this is what I have come up with. 1. Predator (1987) 2. Batman (1989) 3. Tremors (1990) 4. Trespass (1992) 5. Bad Boys (1995) 6. From Dusk till Dawn (1996) 7. Starship Troopers (1997) 8. The Fast and the Furious (2001) 9. Training Day (2002) 10. Iron Man (2008) I would say there are 3 or 4 listed here that I could swap out for other personal treasures such as Fallen, The Blues Brothers, Friday, Infinity War… I could go on… 😄 For a favourite movie that I would like to see a steelbook release for, I would opt for either Fast Company (1979) Trespass (1992) or Grabbers (2012) but all seem highly unlikely. For a favourite that I would love to see get the premium treatment, it has to be the Iron Man Trilogy Or the Blade Trilogy by WeET… OR Starship Troopers by MantaLab (That’s right, I’m greedy). 🤞🏼😁
  10. @cypheria078 You have me bewildered Bro. How does anyone initially call out their love for Star Wars, Back to the Future & Indiana Jones, and then come out with a list of such epic depressing storylines for their top 10?! 😂 Im not saying Schindlers List isn’t a great movie, but a movie about the holocaust in your Top 10 favourite films… Dude… 🤗🤗🤗😄😄
  11. Been thinking about this all day. I’m down to about 20-30 so far, but keep coming up with more 😂
  12. It honestly looks like something I could throw together on my iPad in terms of design, and I would expect more than that really. I would rather they used actual movie release artwork. The second I see the old city skyline in silhouette in a design I feel it is lazy. Just like the bullet marks, it’s so over done. Just my option of course 👍🏼
  13. Completely agree. Glad I have the previous iteration for this as both of these are actually pretty lame IMO. Still needs a “proper” WEA release from some one like Nova or Manta… 🤞🏼
  14. Ok…. Ok….. So tonight (against my better judgement) I watched Hobbs and Shaw. (Spoiler alert) It was showing on TV and I happened to time it just right as I channel hopped. I Figured what the hell…. Well….. It’s fair to say that it just rocketed to the top of my “What the Hell did I just watch” list. I honestly cannot recall Anything in recent years as ridiculous as this, other than other F&F franchise movies post F&F5 or Aquaman. However none of those were as self indulgent as this bag of nonsense. How the Hell did they get away with spending $200 million dollars and fail to employ someone with an ounce of common sense who could have pointed out how time, physics and the world works. I can forgive an action movie for having vain muscular unrealistic moments where a mortal man pulls off the impossible. I can forgive a petrol head franchise for having futuristic supposedly electric vehicles that are roaring around to the sound of V8 engines. I can EVEN forgive a transforming bike that appears indestructible, can pivot wheels and can even ultimately drive itself, OR that a Samoan car mechanic is the ONLY man that they can call on to fix a broken, futuristic, one of a kind Virus extraction device. Not to mention they are of course naturally on bad terms… I mean Obviously right?! FFS. I could go on and on and on… I cannot forgive a storyline written completely around “The Urgency” of the situation, and the unbelievable list of tasks, fights and global locations visited in the given timeframe. On one hand time appears endless as they hop from London to Moscow, then Ukraine and finally Samoa. And yet in another moment, we go from night to day as the device has counted down just 9 minutes?!! What about if you attach 4 cars end to end by chains, and the one at the back fires it’s nitrous… now I may be wrong here, but my guess is that it ploughs straight into the car in front right? Apparently not. 🤣 And back to the self indulgence… Why pray tell is there a US Air Marshall on a flight that is going from London to Moscow??! I’ll tell you why, because he’s Dwayne Johnson’s mate and needed a part. Shocking. I’m also intrigued just how many times The Rock calls someone ‘Brother’ throughout this. It gets cringey by the end, and if you make it that far then you’re in for a real treat because apparently… Every guy in Samoa is a huge ripped beast that wants to perform the ‘Haka’ in front of the armed enemy before going to war. Oh yeah, and they’re all expert drivers with trick pick ups. 🙄 I’m sure some of you love the franchise and probably enjoyed this, and I of course appreciate we all have our opinions about what we enjoy, but I found this to be nothing but a Dwayne Johnson jolly. Nothing against him, I’m actually a fan. But this was too much, inclusive of the eye brow jokes and shirtless Haka performance. All in all, a slick predictable high octane adventure with lame humour throughout. You also need to forget half of the plot to truly buy it. Disappointing and laughable. BTW, flight time from Moscow/Ukraine to Samoa is 19hrs and yet they still had time to form and action an elaborate gun free plan in seconds, not to mention fix a device no one has ever seen or worked on before. Pretty sure they’d all be dead tbh. 😆
  15. Why that doesn’t look like Cats OR Dogs my good man. More like… Playing cards??! Christ…. Don’t let @R1s1ngs0n or @BreakBeatDJ see this! 🤣
  16. @R1s1ngs0n I am guessing there is no difference between the actual cards inside the boxes where theory11 offer Red, Blue & Green Avengers decks? Same for the Beatles or Star Wars sets for example?
  17. @GuyIncognit0 @Intentcoin @Noir21 The Batman release is the Batman Trilogy, so stands to reason that Spidey would be the same? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Just guess work.
  18. Sold!! Ive been ever so tempted by so many of their releases, but this has to be the one to break my resilience for sure 🙌🏼
  19. Wow, Stunning landscape and stunning pics @sobmaster 😍👍🏼
  20. Xmas Special Challenge - "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" 🌨 Magnifique - Salut @R1s1ngs0n 🥂🎄 Seeing as how these only come out of their box once a year, let’s do this one all soppy and properly shall we. I really do need to replace these with BluRays though. I put it off every year but I think this could well be the last year for these DVD’s to go back in the loft with the decorations. Scrooged is probably my Fav “True” Christmas Movie. Really looking forward to seeing Violent Night at some point. Could even be a blind buy to start the new Christmas Blu-ray collection for next year. Friday night I watched Krampus, and last night I watched Christmas specials of Only Fools and Horses, Absolutely Fabulous and Mrs Browns Boys. Next weekend, Friday will see drinks with old friends after work. Saturday will be driving and gift swapping with Family, but I expect Saturday night will either be a regular viewing of either Gremlins or Home Alone, or a premiere of Spirited on Apple TV. All three will be watched at some point over this week, I am just unsure which one will take the all important Christmas Eve slot. But the most important viewing for me this year is the First Kings Speech on Christmas day since 1951! Historic moment for sure. I am sure I will say this more than once over the next week, but Merry Christmas Everyone! Wishing you all a wonderful Festive Holiday no matter how you spend it. ❤️
  21. Well…. That hit all the right spots! What a Game! Congratulations to Argentina! Messi was a Joy to watch in what will likely be our last time watching him on the world stage. In truth, I feel they edged it in who deserved it more. Commiserations to the French community. 2 WC Finals in a row and still an incredibly talented and young squad. We know you will be back and competing as favourites for the Euros in 2024.👊🏼 Thank you to @extantsrevenge for the set up and continuous admin of this tournament. 👍🏼 Thank you to @Cornbuster for the sweet design of this award. 👌🏼 Congratulations to @Reagh for topping the table! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  22. Hi all, I hope you’re all well. It’s been an age since I last posted in here, it thought I would share with you all that I have literally just binged the first 13 episodes of Tiger and Bunny. I hadn’t been far into episode 1 before think “Ohhh this isn’t for me”, and yet 4hrs and 20min later here we are 😆 A little lacking in originality for sure (basically Batman entwined with Xmen or Heroes) but it has sucked me in and I now quite like the HeroTV and sponsorship plot which I originally cringed at. And visually it’s great and has already inspired a Lego build project for the future which will be added to the growing list. Quite surprised by how many episodes there are, but hopefully it will keep me gripped and entertain throughout without me losing interest. Cheers! 4D06567E-8C83-4440-9E38-06D215702236.webp
