I am blindly Excited for this one. I can’t see Coogler giving us anything but class in all honesty. As for whoever it is… it HAS to be Shuri. Shes Royalty and would be next in line, especially whilst her mother still sits on the throne (as per the trailer). The movie poster (whilst just a mask) looks suspiciously female IMO, and we know how much Marvel are loving the gender switch right now (Hawkeye, Thor, She-Hulk, Captain Carter, Iron Heart…). And lastly the introduction of Riri Williams in Black Panther would suggest she is the next tech genius to replace Shuri as she becomes the Black Panther. All of the above is detective/guess work, so I could of course be wrong, but this where my money is at.

War Machine needs his moment in the spotlight for Damn sure. 🤞🏼

Always exciting when Feige presents plans on the big screens! I honestly feel like it can only get better right now 🤞🏼 Like @RAK says, I haven’t hated any of Phase 4, but it’s def dropped off a notch since End Game & NWH (that’s right @CryoSteel I said it 😉😂). @notdan I always thought that the new Avengers line up would consist of Falcon, Black Panther, Ant-man & the Wasp, with potential “Rookies” Riri Williams & Kate Bishop. But honestly, I confess to struggling to understand where this is going now. I also think the Thunderbolts will most likely be “The Dark Avengers” with US Agent, Yelena Romanov, Abomination etc. But, what I Really want to know, is where has Armour Wars has gone…. 🫤 Gutted.

I Am Groot (2022)

Whilst £80 for a set of 4 is a decent value. I think I paid approx £7 per steelbook, all new (admittedly not 4K) for these. I personally can’t justify an £80 re-spend on these but once again, slap a pretty lady on the front and Zavvi will fill their boots. 🤑

I don’t collect non marvel, but I have a few. Nothing special though, just the odd movie Pop that I like. I have a lot of Marvel PIAB exclusives and comic con exclusives. Only two Chase editions so far. They appear very hard to come by in the UK. As you can imagine, like all these things once people cotton on, you’re lucky if they even hit the shelves. I know of a staff member in a certain retail outlet that will basically have any Chase away for themselves upon arrival. I used to collect Hotwheels Treasure Hunts, and this used to be a well kept secret. But nowadays the world knows about them thanks to eBay, and once again you are hard pushed to ever find one again within a store.

I’m in for A2 mate. Reasons being the following… A1 slip is pretty simply the same art as my pride and joy, opened Nova WEA which is on display. I try to avoid display Steel & Shelf Slip having same artwork. (Yes, I only have one version of a FS of each movie on my shelf. The others are in a cupboard). 😊 A2 artwork is one I’ve always admired on the Zavvi Lenti steel, to the point I once considered displaying it over my Nova WEA…. Madness I know, but I never did go full Lunatic an it remains in a cupboard 😂 B1….. well….. it’s a Lenti….. nuff said. EXCEPT! I am seriously considering a double dip for this, purely because I wanted this iron man art slip for my Nova FS, but I refused to pay stooooopid money (Missed the GB) and so I own the Cap FS. & finally B2 - …………….😶 😁 Nova WEA

I guess Novas WEA (Artwork on A1 FS) will be keeping its throne in the Pbsw23 display for this one. Over the moon that WeET have given us this release, and A2 (Zavvi Lenti artwork) will make for a Fantastic FS in the collection. That WEA artwork though…. Not so good sadly. Can’t win ‘em all I guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I need to watch MoM again, though not in any rush to do so. And like everyone else in here I suspect, I will absolutely be purchasing a premium of it should we get one, but I honestly think it could be my least fav movie so far in the MCU. I struggled with Carol Danvers going from not understanding her powers, to taking out nukes and flying through spaceships in a matter or minutes. And yet, here we are with the same storyline with America Chavez. “Oh, I can punch portals now, that’s handy because Monster Strange couldn’t beat her and I’m about to die”. And now I am faced with some one who was a Hydra Puppet, then becomes an Avenger, then takes people hostage to live out a fantasy, next becomes a mass murderer (who by the way can now kill Capt. Marvel with relative ease, and doesn’t need an infinity stone to do so) and finally becomes “Good” again in a moment of realisation??? Perhaps I am Completely overthinking it, but that just reeks of too many Chefs to me. Was the whole point of Wandervison to lead us into a Movie in which they can give us a comic book version of Scarlet Witch? Seems so. Agree with you guys that Olsen played it brilliantly, but what a messed up character arc. I get that the Darkhold corrupted her, but still. Someone should’ve told her that Vision would be less than impressed with her 😂 My biggest disappointment though was some of the sets. Captain Carters world out in the streets was sooooooooo bad. My office has more realistic looking plants than this movie did. Plan to see Thor L&T this week. I will keep an open mind, but Phase 4 has been disappointing. Especially given all the hype around so many new characters and series. Spider-Man NWH is King so far for me (no surprise there I’m sure🤭) and I really enjoyed Shang Chi. I still feel Eternals has some promise, but NONE of the end credit scenes have left me excited with what’s to come. Falcon and the Winter Soldier was really good. I enjoyed Loki, but only fear that this will descend into further madness and eye rolling on my part. Time will tell. 🤞🏼

Anymore views on Multiverse of Madness in here people? I’ve purposely held back my views on this one to see what others thought first. Went in excited, came out less than impressed. ☹️ Another entirely disappointing movie in the realms of Black Widow. Basically just a nod (and Disney cashing in on) to the animated What If series, but mostly to merely introduce another new character. And don’t even get me started on the cheesy one liners. Real Shame. Could have been so much more. I really fear for Love and Thunder now reading reviews of those who have seen it. All of that horror and death, only to come to the epiphany that was levied right from the start of it. 🙄 Yawn. Some of the sets were also appalling, as were some other costume/make up shots. Guess they blew the budget on the CGI moments. 🤷🏼‍♂️ This honestly felt like a backwards step to me. Apart from impressive CGI in places, it literally felt on a par with Raimi’s 2002 Spider-Man. In fact, Spider-Man looked better than this in a lot of places, especially for it’s time. Seems like Raimi hasn’t advanced in 20yrs tbh. It also felt a lot longer than 2hrs to me. Disappointed.

I came away from it thinking that it was clear that they went with a visionary director in Chloe Zhao, who IMO was looking to take what would have essentially been another superhero movie, and turn it into Love story of sorts whilst tackling issues such as diversity and religion. I used Thor as an example as they went with Kenneth Branagh and took an almost Shakespearean approach. It wasn’t a popular movie compared to Iron Man and Captain America, but as the story arc grows Thor has become one of the most popular characters. I’m sure the same will happen with some of the Eternals.

Gemma Chan was Minn Erva in Capt. Marvel. Agree that Movie wasn’t great. As for Eternals, it wasn’t 10-12 new characters, it was 10 Original characters from the 70’s. 😁🤭 This movie was destined for bad reviews after Infinity War & End Game because people weren’t invested in it. But if you watch it without over thinking all that had gone before, then it’s not a bad movie at all. It’s just not following the trend of its predecessors (IMO). Much like the first Thor before this, it’s setting a back drop before the masses that have bad mouthed it wind up loving the story arc and characters in it. Again… IMO. 😊👍🏼

@Intentcoin I’m sure I have asked you this before bud, but what size protective slips do you use on Nova FS? The same size you use for WeET, or slightly different? After all this time you wore me down and all my WeET (and Kimchi WeET) WEA’s are now protected. Need to tackle some prize Novas next. I just find that my novas seem ever so slightly thinner.
