  1. Welcome @MCU_Smithsonian Always nice to see another fellow Brit join the ranks. Hope to see you posting around the Mad House and sharing your thoughts and pics of your collection. 👍🏼
  2. These days, I tend to go into almost anything Marvel excited 😂 But often try and quash my expectations. Moon Knight was one that was hard for me to do that with, and was dying to see sneak peeks etc before it’s release. Luckily for me (IMO) it has not disappointed! I think Isaac has done a Fantastic job, although as you say so has Hawke equally (as we have come to expect). I think you’re right about it doesn’t feel MCU, hence my comment about smacks of Marvels Legion (if you’ve seen that?). As much as I want them to announce Season 2 already, they have so much on their schedule right now I’m not sure I can see it. Most likely we may have Mark Spector cameos elsewhere like Matt Murdoch in No Way Home or Wilson Fisk in Hawk-eye. But regardless, it is a great show and glad you’re enjoying it mate 😁👍🏼
  3. Obviously we still have Moon Knight still airing along with Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness hitting the big screen later this week. But on June 8th, Kamala Khan's journey begins. This is Ms. Marvels debut in the MCU and will lead into The Marvels currently due July 28th 2023. Another relatively New era character much like Kate Bishop (Hawk-eye) before her and Riri Williams (Iron Heart - Also due to hit Disney+ in her own series), means this one is likely to excite the younger generations over us ageing “Old School” Marvel heads. Ms. Marvel made her debut in 2013, and got her first title run in 2014 and has proved a highly popular character among comic book fans since. The latest poster for Marvel Studios' Ms. Marvel has arrived showing Kamama front and center — in her Ms. Marvel outfit, of course. But, she's not alone as surrounding her are her family and closest friends. Take a look at the brand new poster, above! Ms. Marvel is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega-fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels invisible both at home and at school—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right? Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha. Episodes are directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Bisha K. Ali are the executive producers. Co-executive producers for the series are Sana Amanat and Trevor Waterson, and Bisha K. Ali is the head writer.
  4. No worries. Come and share with us what you think when you watch a few more (without spoilers 😁). I think I should probably create a couple of spoiler threads in here for those who watch everything on release.
  5. How is everyone enjoying Moon Knight btw? Smacks of ‘Legion’ in places for me, but still very much enjoying it.
  6. To prepare you for the upcoming highly-anticipated film Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Studios' Legends has released three brand-new episodes on Disney+, focusing on the magic wielders of the MCU Dr. Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch, and Sorcerer Supreme Wong.
  7. THE ICONIC CINEMATIC TERROR MAKES ITS MARVEL DEBUT! Gabriel Cruz gave his life to Weyland-Yutani--In the case of an alien attack he barely survived, almost literally! Recently retired, Cruz is trying to patch things up with his abandoned son with the help of his friend, a Bishop-model android, but his re-entry into civilian life is not going smoothly…and his encounters with the deadly Xenomorph are far from over. Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Salvador Larroca team up to tell an all-new tale of the titan of horror and science fiction that has scared audiences for decades. No one is safe. No one is innocent. And no one can hear you scream.
  8. Here’s phase two of my Nick Bradshaw comic covers. Dude is Phenomenal.
  9. Thanks mate. One day I plan to frame the best ones and hang them in my man cave. I’ll likely dig a few more out now then and share here.
  10. Wasn’t sure if people would be interested in these or not, but I figure I started this thread for sharing Marvel stuff so what the hell. Nick Bradshaw is one of my fav artists, and I have been slowly collecting some of his comic book cover art. The level of detail he puts in just amazes me. Here are my latest arrivals. Happy to post more from my collection if anyone is interested.
  11. The Galaxy's Deadliest Hunter Comes to Marvel Comics in 'Predator' #1 All-new 'Predator' stories from writer Ed Brisson and artist Kev Walker coming in July. BY MARVEL This July, the remorseless alien killer known as the Predator embarks on a new hunt! Marvel Comics is proud to bring readers thrilling new stories starring this lethal terror in a brand-new comic series. Written by Ed Brisson (IRON FIST, GHOST RIDER) and artist Kev Walker (DR. STRANGE, DOCTOR APHRA), PREDATOR will deliver all the explosive action and relentless horror that fans have come to expect from this pop culture icon. The story kicks off when a young girl sees her family slaughtered by a Predator. Years later, though her ship is barely holding together and food is running short, Theta won’t stop stalking the spaceways until the Yautja monster who killed her family is dead…or she is. “I've been obsessed with Predator since first seeing the film at the drive-in theater as a kid. I can still remember sitting there in horrified fascination and then acting out the movie for my classmates the following week at school. I bought the VHS and wore the hell out of the tape. Getting to write the characters launch for Marvel is a dream come true. When they offered me the gig, I already had a million ideas ready to go,” Brisson said. “Not only am I excited to write a PREDATOR book, but I'm doubly excited to be working with Kev Walker on the series. The pages he's turned in so far and mind-blowing. He's delivered awe-inspiring alien planets; huge, blood-pumping action scenes: and devastatingly emotional beats all in the space of the first issue. I really think we're making something quite special here.” Predator #1 Cover by Leinil Francis Yu PREDATOR #1 Written by ED BRISSON Art by KEV WALKER Cover by LEINIL FRANCIS YU On Sale 7/6 Since making its debut in the landmark 1987 film, the Predator has invaded media in film, comic books, video games, and more. Brace yourselves for this action-packed, heartbreaking, unforgettable new chapter in the PREDATOR saga when PREDATOR #1 hits stands on July 6th!
  12. Creating a thread for all things of Marvel interest, that may not be specifically linked to the MCU.
  13. Yet more Love and Thunder Merch that points towards All-Black the Necrosword and could possibly bring a Knull/Symbiote storyline into the MCU.
  14. @Maksood Just saw your post in the German Room, and I literally just bought myself a Dicentra (Bleeding Hearts) over the Easter weekend and already wishing I’d bought more! Yours looks impressive. 😁👌🏼
  15. All the Merch points towards All-Black the Necrosword so far… 🤞🏼 @Christopher @Steelbook Indy You should totally bring this kind of post over to the MCU Club boys 👍🏼
  16. Yeah I completely agree. I felt Eternals was a little hard done by, as it is trying to tackle inclusivity etc. and be something of a Romantic adventure. And ultimately I think it achieves that whilst setting up new storylines, but it’s clearly not living up to peoples expectations after IW/EG. Black Widow is easiest my least fav in the whole MCU. Utterly pointless, ruined Taskmaster and the Russian accent coming out of Ray Winstone's mouth is just embarrassing. Shang-Chi was visually beautiful and a lot of fun, but it did feel almost too far fetched in places? I know that sounds like a ridiculous thing to say, but it was just my take away. I need to watch it again tbh and just enjoy it. As for No Way Home… I doubt I need to voice my opinions on that one 😍👌🏼😂
  17. VERY good point!! I’d not realised that Guardians was missing, purely got carried away with the addition of Blade in the mix 😂👍🏼
  18. Also just wanted to share this little update with you all which has taken me by surprise… I had been under the impression that Blade was A. To be a series, and B. Thought it had become the forgotten works with F4 and Xmen stepping into the fray. Maybe it was just me? However, this would indicate that although still no release date, it could well be expected in 2023?? 🤞🏼😍 Still only Mahershala Ali’s name against it so far mine you.
  19. Watched Love & Thunder trailer 4 times already 😂 Makes me laugh that people are saying the MCU will never reach the same heights after End Game. No Way Home has already been considered one of the best, if not The Best MCU movie so far, and Multiverse of Madness and Love & Thunder both look Insane!! All three of these newest 3 titles post End Game will pee all over the previous 6 namesake titles, with possibly the exception of Ragnarok (IMO).
