  1. Challenge 4 Brilliant idea @raylight 👍🏼 Already seen examples that would have been my most obvious picks, so trying to go for items not shared yet. Also wanted to avoid my usual MCU route. A Flying Saucer & Chinooks… An Earth and an Alien War Ship… A Bunch of Hot Rods… A Flaming Motorcycle… And of course and most Obviously, a Flying Motorhome… 😂 @extantsrevenge I have an idea for a future Challenge.
  2. Great minds and all that 😁👍🏼 I did the same and came to the same conclusion just before the pandemic. At one point I was receiving “goodie boxes” from MP a little too regularly 😂 I then decided to be pickier with my GB’s, but now with rising postage costs I am having to wind it back even more. I would like to say my plan is to only focus on Marvel WEA’s from here on out, So given Disney have seemingly pulled all rights for anymore WEA’s, then I should have no issue saving the pennies! 😂😂
  3. Timing is everything… I literally just paid an invoice and was thinking that I am now being priced out of this hobby. Although to be honest it is the shipping fees that are killing me. It’s getting harder and harder to justify the cost of one movie, which will ultimately end up on one of the streaming platforms anyway (most of which I have a subscription with). I do not want to give this hobby up (physical media) and I certainly don’t want to miss out on any up coming Premiums that tick my boxes, but if Everything keeps going up (Fuel, Energy, Interest rates, Groceries etc. etc,) then the Steelbooks are the first obvious saving for me to make. 😥
  4. Challenge 3 I’m really not someone who cares about the extras. I’m really only here for a sweet steelbook and a fabulous Fullslip in the main. The rest is just needless filler to jack up the price IMHO. To that end, it’s actually hard for myself to come up with 3 items that I cherish. I have a dusty old shoebox under the bed with key chains, magnets, stickers and even wristbands that came with releases. That said, I have managed to come up with 3 to meet the challenge (Thank you btw @GuyIncognit0 👍🏼) and yes, it’s all Marvel related. Shock Horror, I know. 😂 First up is the “invite only” holo foil magnets from Ksosk. Whilst I do not display these, they do have a place in my heart as being MP GB specific, and I fully appreciate the time and efforts in getting these designed, produced and shipped globally. Nice pieces to hold with my MP swag. Next up are some old relics… What ever happened to PET slips huh?! At one stage I wanted to collect these as well. I have more somewhere, but I particularly like the Ant-man and Strange ones. And lastly, again a Huge Thank you to @ksosk for these Beautiful Civil War cards (There are 10 but 9 makes a nicer image 😂). I honestly just Love these and plan to one day frame them and hang in either my office or my gym. I am sure I may be wrong, but to my knowledge these are the first items that the mighty Ksosk pulled together for some of us psychos. I can’t recall which Civil War GB it was for now, but they were a simply awesome surprise. Love them.
  5. Finally got around to unboxing my Avengers Loki and popping him in pride of place, ruling over the NovaMedia Avengers WEA. Can’t wait for my WeET Avengers WEA to land and compare them. On artwork alone I am expecting to keep Nova on the display shelf, but time will tell. Speaking of WeET, I have also put away the Blufans Age of Ultron WEA and placed WeETs recent release in its place. And here is a quick snap of a wider view of the set up. Still have 2 title duplicates on display (Civil War and Ragnarok) so praying that someone is given the GreenLight to bring us something new in the form of a WEA steel. Disc or no disc…. Hoping Blufans finally give us the Far From Home DL. 🤞🏼
  6. Hi all, I was recently comparing a couple of near identical double dips and thought I’d share pics up on the forum. Then I initially couldn’t think of where to put them…. Then I remembered the Double Dippers Club! Hence, starting a new thread here 😁 Who did it better? Both WEA’s, Both the same artwork. Not even sure how often this actually happens? But first up for the offering… Blufans vs. WeET. Initially I thought the the OG Blufans still had it. I felt like the greyer tones were better suited to the original artwork and general imagery. The WeET version has a bluer hue to it. But then on reflection, the WeET edition has a slightly more glossy feeling to it. Not by much I may add, but ever so slightly. Then, in the last image, I find the WeET blue hue really brings out Black Widows get up and again think WeET has it, but then look at hulk. In the WeET version he appears very dark, whereas in the Blufans version, he stands proud like the big mean green machine he is. I’ve had the Blufans version out on display since day one when I put my display together, and had thought it would remain. However I think I am going to swap it out for WeET and live with it for a while. Anyway, hope you like the pics and new thread. 👍🏼
  7. I totally take your point and let’s be honest, this could be a a misleading line up. But… 3 ex super soldiers? Really? If you take Red Guardian, U.S. Agent & Taskmaster, you have 3 people who fight with shields? And even if I look past all of that, I ask Why is Bucky there? Doesn’t really fit with what we know in the MCU so far. I can’t help but feel that Feige is starting to lose it. Or Disney are just trying to churn them out a bit much now. Obviously I’m going to be anticipating it, will watch it, buy it etc etc. 😂 But I still don’t like what I am seeing at the moment. ☹️
  8. Really not keen on this Thunderbolts line up 😒
  9. Finally got around to opening up my WeET Age of Ultron A1 edition and Wow…. I’m still Championing WeETs Venom as my Fav ever Fullslip, but I think that this delight has stormed into a solid 2nd place! The texturing and mix of Matt and Spot gloss is just superb.
  10. @R1s1ngs0n & @extantsrevenge Here is my submission for Challenge 2. Apologies for going the Superhero route Eli, but in order to be true to one’s self, these are some of my favourite editions. I am also throwing a curveball in here. 😁 First up is the edition that kickstarted Premium collecting for me. Novamedia’s first ever Premium release (NC001) back in Sept 2014. I still recall seeing this for the first time on Twitter and just thinking “Bloody Hell, I need to get me one of those!” Next, and following the “First Release” theme, I am going with Mantalab’s Man of Steel (ME001). I also have their first Global release (WWA) as well, but as we are showing one release per retailer, it has to be MoS. This was back when Holo Foil was all the rage, but Manta mixed it up with some sweet texturing as well. And to top it off, this WEA just oozes class. One very sexy edition indeed. Next up I am pulling out one of the Big Guns… it is of course the Kings of Fullslips and my boys WeET. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, This Fullslip is the best of the Best. I have recently opened my Age of Ultron offering from WeET and I did consider the fact that it could be a new Champion for the FS, but on comparison I am sticking with this one. It’s a shame it only came with a WWA inside it, because this slip really deserves a stunning WEA to partner it. Here is Venom. I honestly cannot sell this one enough to collectors, and if you own one and it is still sealed….. Shame on you. 😁 Now for my 4th (and European choice) I was going to go with Alita, but I rather suspect a few people will opt for that one. So instead I am going back in time again to 2015 and Film Arena’s Ghost Rider. A simple design and yet a quite striking edition. The Matt black and glossy embossed title and flaming skull make it a firm favourite for me (Don’t tell @Basil but this one also has a decent transitional Lenti inside it 🤫). Lastly, the curve ball… Not sure if we’re allowed to go the DVD route? (I have a BluRay back up ready just in case). But for my Non-Steelbook release I could have gone the MLIFE or digibook route, but I wanted to share something a little different. Here is my Original X-Men Trilogy FS edition from the DVD days. I sold off soooooo many DVDs as I started Steelbook collecting, but I have never been able to bring myself to part with this one. Anyway, hope it counts. 🤞🏼 If not I have a fetching Asian Spidey digibook instead. 😆 Cheers.
  11. Starting to regret not jumping in on The On GB for Knives Out looking at this post. 👌🏼
  12. These are all stunning editions and beautifully captured mate. Nice one. 👍🏼
  13. @raylight I need a bunch of people to post in here now so that when I do present my DD’s, it’s not anywhere near this Psychotic Haul ….showing me up to be such a pretender 😂😂😂👍🏼
  14. Holy Sh*tballs Batman 😲 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 🤘🏼😜👌🏼
  15. @extantsrevenge Hey Nils, where it show “My Clubs” on the left hand side of our thread posts, does it only show a maximum of 4? Really doesn’t matter, I was just curious as I noticed mine isn’t showing Gold Member Club despite being a long term Gold Member, and yet it does show one of my GB clubs? 😁
  16. It’s all Good Bro, just glad to see you here. I am Certainly guilty of going AWOL on occasions. 😁 I had thought last week that I hadn’t spoken to you for a while, and then I spotted you just now so had to react in my own special way 😂👍🏼
  17. ☝🏼😁 Hey @LeGonze Long time no speak Bro! Hope you’re good?
  18. It is WELL documented across this site that for me, the best Lentis are the ones that have no depth and Zero transition …. (Go Team Fullslip) 😂 But even I…. (Swallows pride…. Clears throat)…. Yes Even I have Lenti’s within the collection. I guess my Favourite would have to be Kimchi’s Iron Man O-Ring. Partly because it’s Iron Man, partly because it was the first ever Premium Lenti (not counting the Zavvi line) that I owned. If you’re a Marvel FS collector as I know many of you are, then you’re Royally screwed when it comes to Mr. Stark sadly. Given that I am not a Lenti collector, I cannot say that I have given it too much consideration over Depth vs. Transition. Now that I am, I would have to say that I favour Transition and yet, of all the Lentis that I do own, I only have 2 Transition Lenti slips. The other one being FA’s Godzilla XL. I do recall being very impressed by the Transition Lenti within FA’s Warcraft FS. 4 images in one Lenti. Feels kinda weird to admit that, like a dirty secret. 🤣 Lastly, I am also impressed with Blufans Venom DL. One of a few Dirty DL’s I own as they didn’t release a FS as a single, and most I am not impressed with at all. But they did a Bang up job with Venom for sure. 👍🏼 Anyway, rant over… here are some lovely Lenti pics 😁🍻
  19. …..The World is actually just a little larger than America Mike. 😂😂😂
  20. Loving this @Squeegie McGee 😍👌🏼 Stuff of my dreams. Good weather, Good company and outdoor cooking and drinks.
  21. Duuuuuude!!! Ohhh Man, I still have that Police Station! Funny enough, when Sheldon goes home in The Big Bang Theory, he sits and builds that exact set! 😁 I also have the Hospital. I have a couple of fire engines, but never had the Fire Station. As for the Pirate Ship and Fort, Wow. So pleased you’ve kept that ship. I always wanted it but never got it. I had the smaller Pirates sets but sadly those sets were mistakenly given to my nephew, which by the time I’d realised they were long gone. Still have everything else though. 😊👍🏼 Btw, here is my “attempt” at Ecto-1 a few years ago before it was released as a set. 🤭 Mines not quite as good 😂
