Oh wow, ask the FedEx gods to have mercy and sometimes they will! Here be my pickups from the Vinegar Syndrome Halfway to Black Friday sale, plus my monthly subscription package from them!

I live in Massachusetts, so I used to get them in a day after they'd ship from Connecticut. But ever since FedEx decided to take my packages from CT to New Jersey first, it takes almost a week to arrive. Insane!

Uh, do y’all know how scarce good film materials are for John Woo’s earlier films? I’d obviously prefer a new remaster, but I’m happy with what we have given the circumstances. Anyway, this edition looks terrific! Easy choice to join the GB. -
Yeah, I have soft spot for the remake. Very distinct for a horror film made in 2006 and rather mean-spirited in ways many studio slashers are not. It's not a great movie by any means, but it's a rather well-directed effort.

Today is a pretty big day in my household. The long-gestating release of Tombs of the Blind Dead from Synapse Films is finally in my hands! They dropped this release at Cinema Wasteland in Ohio last weekend and a friend picked up and shipped me a copy!!

Just received my OC and I got to say, I love the extra care that Manta Lab puts into packaging these. Those foam boxes really work wonderfully, and I always appreciate the hard plastic protector that comes with the OC automatically. -
Hell yeah, nice haul! Enjoy the VS titles! Dracula Sucks is fun! Haven’t watched All-American Murder yet.
