Went out to Best Buy this AM to pick this up. I swear that these Best Buy / Lionsgate 4K exclusives are getting better and better. Gotta love that “First Pressing” text printed on the opening of the steelbook.

It’s worth noting here that Turbine’s 2019 4K release not only lacked HDR, but it had some rather wonky encoding issues. That’s why they’ve emphasized in the announcement that the encoding was done by a company more up to the task. I’ve personally loved all of Turbine’s 4K releases, though their first go at Texas Chainsaw was a bit bungled. This new one will most likely look incredible.

I own this 4K steel from Turbine that came out in 2019. Can confirm that this new release adds Dolby Vision HDR (previous release didn't have HDR).

Although this is a rude depiction, it is accurate as to how I feel with all of the incredible food within reach at all times. I'm partial to halal food, specifically the original Halal Guys on 6th Ave and W 53rd St. I used to grab a sandwich before heading over to MoMA for movies. -

It was a red letter day for movie mail today! First up: The new 4K edition of Touch of Evil from Kino Lorber. Going to look absolutely stunning on my display. Can’t wait to watch. Second: The long-OOP Blu-ray of Wake in Fright from Drafthouse Films Finally: Some OOP Vinegar Syndrome slips and a Grindhouse Releasing staple
