Hi everybody.. this is just a public service announcement apologising for my absence. Whether it has been noticed is another story 😁. Life has been so hectic lately. Long hours at work. No time to scratch it. I've only participated in one challenge so far.. very disappointed at myself. So tired as I type this... sheesh. Anyway, I hope all is well with everybody.

Yeah I've ended up getting a refund for it. Amazon were actually pretty good about it. They don't expect me to send it back either, but I still need to buy another copy. Not sure what to do with the sealed copy that potentially has the damage. What do you think I should do with it? It would be unethical to sell it on.

My The Godfather Part II steelbook has arrived from Amazon and it's doing this popping sound. I have a vague memory of this happening to me in the past and it represented a form of damage behind the j-card. The other two steelbooks from the Trilogy are not doing this. Anyone here have experience with similar possible damage? I don't want to crack it open as I probably won't be able to return/refund.

Here's a suggestion for that.. the number used in your username can be switched out for the corresponding letter in the alphabet. For example, 1 will be A.

I've just realised.. these aren't numbered are they?

I've spent the day cracking open sealed OCs that I always intended on only keeping only one slip and offloading the rest. There are quite a few that I can't come to a decision on and I wanted to have a look at the numbers of people requesting certain slips to help with my decision. For example.. I can't come to a decision on a particular title, I would prefer to hold onto the slip with the highest demand on the GB.

This is my thinking. Each to their own, but this is what I want to do.

PS. What is the reason the GBs have been archived and no longer available for us to see? I personally see value in the GBs being visible.

I've searched MP for two older group buys just now and I can't find them. They are Novamedia Apocalypse Now Final Cut, and Manta Lab Interstellar.

Have older group buys been deleted from the site?

I've been collecting since lockdown 2020, so the editions I'm about to share may not seem that old to a lot of you. Also, I haven't kept the most accurate records, but I've done the best I can to find my earliest premiums from different labels.

I chose not to include Titans of Cult as it's debatable whether they're even considered premium.

1. EverythingBlu - The Mummy Trilogy (The Book of the Living)

This was my second premium, purchased on the secondary market for a steal! To date, my favorite piece.

2. Kimchi DVD - Whiplash OC

Top movie!

3. Novamedia - John Wick 1, 2, 3

These were my first premiums, bought all at once on the secondary market.

4. WeET - Avengers Infinity War Lenti

To date, WeET take the title for best lenticulars, in my mind. The depth and amount of layers are amazing.

5. HDZeta - Sherlock Holmes & Sherlock Holmes - a Game of Shadows Silver Label

Bought off a kid from ebay. My first HDZeta. Remember the purchase vividly. We met at a train station lol..
