I actually enjoyed the first 100 to 120 minutes of Killers.  SPOILERS!! I thought it was engrossing and built up to a real sense of paranoia when Leo realizes that the walls are closing in on his own family.  
 

It weirdly fell apart for me when the Feds showed up; that part felt kind of rushed and anticlimactic.  When Lily came out of her drugged state she seemed like a different, less intelligent character.  Barely there.

 

It felt like Scorsese tried to shove two different movies together, so neither one fully landed.  I’ll definitely watch it again.  It’s beautiful, really well done, often darkly comic.  Just not top tier Scorsese (which almost nothing is!). I’d put it on a level with Gangs of New York, with Killers being slightly better.

Hi all! It's been a long time between posts for me.

I just wanted to express my deep disappointment with The Creator. It's agenda was clear. It wants us to sympathise with AI and to ignore its dangers. Denzel's son was terrible, unfortunately. Story line was flaccid.

I also saw Killers of the Flower Moon. Fantastic acting! De Niro was the stand-out. What a performance! However, the movie was too long, and too slow paced. I was falling asleep.

What's everyone's thoughts on these two films?

They absolutely ROCK! House parties at my place are great. Love these speakers to bits. I was fascinated ever since I saw them reviewed by Lew Later on YouTube.

So, I watched Dark Waters last night for the first time. Good movie. Got me a bit worried though. I heard years ago about non-stick pans being bad for you, but that didn't stop me buying them as they work so well. All of my cookware is non-stick.

I'm seriously contemplating on changing it out to stainless steel now.

Has anybody here actually made a move like that after seeing this movie?
