Wasn't really thinking of getting this, discovered this movie just last year while completing Reddit top 250 2018 and I gotta say it is something unique.

This FS is really pushing me to get it, all the red so characteristic of the movie. Just gonna check a couple of points before commiting to this, like quality of Novamedia Full Slips and whether that booklet has any English at all.

They come packed with styrofoam (had to look this one up in google translate xD). Here's a picture

The first one was there, then there is another layer like this below. They arrived mint, although the boxes were well taken care of. I believe a lot of bubble wrap beats this, but it's pretty well protected anyway  .

Yeah it is weird indeed that it is still available, given that is a movie loved by many and a must in any collectors shelf if I say so.

On my ebay hunts that Prometheus edition has been tempting my eyes for quite some time now! you may have just given me the final push 😅

My reaction was pure rage, frustration and sadness 😔

We can see that the team who built these cutscenes clearly love the game! They were recreated faithfully to match the original, and Konami goes and puts it in a F*****ING PACHINKO MACHINE 🤦‍♂️.

I just hope for a brighter future for the franchise, hopefully in the hands of SONY 🙏

You're welcome!! I only found it like 2 years ago, and I've been using it on a daily basis ever since. All the filters it provides, lists, the diary makes it a great playground to discover new stuff and keep track of what you have seen.

@Veum, do you know letterboxd.com? If not give it a try, great way to discover new movies. Since I found it I have stopped struggling to find a new movies to watch.

I had never put myself through this misery of ranking the games in my favorite franchise ever! Thanks Eli for making my brain hurt 

Favorite Games

MGS - I may be biased due to the nostalgia factor on this one. It's just that all of this game is carved in my brain, I remember all of it like I had just played it yesterday. A pioneer in the genre, an impecable soundtrack and a really compeling story that sets up the major characters of this franchise.

MGS3 - The relationship with The Boss is the heart and soul of this one. We get to play for the first time as the Legend! Big Boss. Boy did this man suffer...

MGSV - If only Konami did not interfere I believe this would have become the greatest Metal Gear ever. Game was clearly unfinished with the 2nd chapter forcing us to repeat quests at a higher difficulty level in order to move forward in the story.There was definitely a lot left on the cutting floor, just look at the missing footage from trailers and that unfinshed raw footage of episode 51. A technical marvel in terms of gameplay, so many possibilities to go through each mission we're given.

MGS4 - Cutscenegasm! Some great epic moments throughout the game, that microwave hall near the end, returning to Shadow Moses, Ray vs Rex, Liquid Ocelot final fight, Solid Snake meets Big Boss!

MGS2 - Stings to rank this so low, but for me all the others left a bigger mark. Dont get me wrong I effin love the game. Amazing theme song.

MGS: PW - Gotta be honest, dont remember much of the story here, it is where the concept of building a mother base is introduced, we get to know Chico and Paz.

Nice to see Nova Media didnt cut out the 4k disc! I skipped 1917 because of that... I'm completely fine with older premiums not having the 4k, but nowadays I can't find a justification not to add them. I mean it's a premium release, 1 4k disc wont rise the price by that much, 10€ maybe tops. Many of us will probably buy the 4k after to put it inside the release making it even more expensive.

The price on this one is indeed a bit high BUT

I NEED IT!

But yeah a huge fan here!! This is the one piece of entertainment that I would pick if I was only allowed to pick one thing in this world. I still remember being a kid and going through that pc demo dozens of times. Then when I finally got the full game I can't even begin to describe the feeling. I just remember being jaw dropped watching those cutscenes, those memorable boss fights... psycho mantis, sniper wolf, gray fox... the nostalgia is strong. Hope the rumors of a remake are true and hope they do it justice! Also hope Jordan Vogt-Roberts is able to bring us his vision to the big screen!

I have an idea that I would like to see if your photoshop magic is able to bring to life 

So the idea is represented below, the theme is Metal Gear Solid, on the left of the banner we would have solid snake, on the right liquid snake and in the middle a bit further away from 'camera' we would have gray fox (maybe under gray fox would be a good placement for the signature). Now I'm not really sure what to do with the background here, maybe some shades of lighter gray to keep the characters in evidence, I'm sure you will come up with a good idea for it .

Let me know if this is too time consuming for you, I guess cutting solid snake out of that background will be challenging. If it's too much work let me know and I'll come up with something else.
