  1. This post prompted me to check the collectong wesbite - I saw that they had the one-click for sale. Bought it, checked the site again, and that was the last one! Already had the fullslip and double on offer, but I regretted not getting the one-click as well. That was a stroke of luck, so many thanks Caktus! 😱 Now I just need luck in finding a Manta Lab Wonder Woman Full Slip, it eludes me.
  2. Should be getting replacements when Dunkirk hits - hoping they're good replacements, was totally gutted when they arrived like it, was so looking forward to them as I adore the film. Fingers crossed!
  3. I was told by Collectong to contact the person who sorted the Groupbuy for Joker to ask for what's needed in order to be sent the replacements. Is that the OP of this thread?
  4. So I contacted Collectong and they asked for the video. They said they would process replacements. I've not heard anything back from them since that so I'm not exactly sure if they've received my email back to them with my details and the video/picture so I'll wait a couple more days to hear back from them again. They were very speedy with the initial reply.
  5. So should I contact them through facebook or the Collectong website? I bought the one-click through MediaPsychos, they might not send replacements in that case? I'm happy to send them back these ones, I just want some good fresh factory mintness instead of having these ones where it looks like a fracture glass ball sack was at the end of the conveyer belt giving them a kiss farewell.
  6. I'd rather they all be good condition out of the shrink wrap, shouldn't really have to mix and match. I've got a video going over all three and have compared it to the Logan Mantalab which has the exact same gloss black look to it. You can see the difference. And as it turns out all of mine are scratched. My edition number of the one-click is 0134. For those that contacted Mantalab about it were they any help? Which way did you contact them? I was going to just accept it, but upon making the video and seeing all three are bad and compared to another steelbook of theirs which is how these should have come... frankly I'm pissed off! 7. I'll make a video of the various steels to show how they are at some point tomorrow or the next day.
  8. It's how I wish the Joker came, pretty pristine. Same gloss black as well 🙈 Wut happnd Manta?!?!
  9. I opened the last two, one has quite a few scratches, one not as much and the other hardly any. Slightly frustrating there wasn't a perfect one in there, I have other glossy black steelbooks which came perfect before, not sure what happened with these. Not sure if it's worth trying to get replacements as a lot of them seem this way from the sounds of it. Bit of a shame, one pristine one would have been lovely. Oh well - If I look closely at all of my collection there's various sized imperfections on the vast majority of them in some shape or form that they came with straight out of the shrink wrap - this is such a volatile hobby. You spend a fortune whether first hand or on a secondary market like Ebay, decide as a collector you want to open and enjoy the pieces which lowers their value substantially, and then find imperfections galore without any general usage scuffs or through any fault of your own, simply just delivered that way. Not much you can do other than just accept they're not pristine pieces of art. Once I accepted that it's been better for me. Conversely, it is a lovely steelbook. Looks great with their Logan one.
  10. This is true. I went through a mindset of doing this early on in collecting, anally pouring over every cm of a steel with a close lightsource to see imperfections. Now I blissfully just give it a look in natural lighting and if I don't catch anything it's all good for me. Because more often than not there's imperfections on every steelbook, and my brain can't handle this. In saying that, I couldn't edit my previous post and I looked at my I Saw the Devil and Crimson Peak steelbooks which share the exact same gloss black and they aren't nowhere near as bad, so I'm not sure what happened with these. But other than that, without a direct lightsource, unless there's extreme scratches the steel is gorgeous. I was just going through all my steelbooks I own and Mantalab really do have some of the best.
  11. I think it happens when you mostly shine direct light on them. Mine looks fine with no direct light source, just in natural lighting and then under a light it looks like it was machine fed through a conveyer.
  12. Where did MantaLab announce these all? I looked on their site and Facebook but didn't see anything.
  13. This is my eighth MP's purchase so far haha. Just my first Mantalab one click, I have a John Wick Novamedia and Umania Joker one click from here - I'm tending to just get the full slips as a collection form MantaLab, for DC at least, other releases are a combination of types. My HDZeta DC collection is all over the place. I was collecting these things a while back but doing it through Ebay and not knowing where or how to keep up to date with what was releasing and the types, so it meant my collection was quite off unfortunately. Managed to get Mantalab full slip BvS and Man of Steel on Ebay a couple weeks back, so now will have Joker, Man of Steel, BvS, Justice League and Aquaman all fullslips. I need to find a Wonder Woman full slip but they're expensive and hard to find If I collected earlier I would have gotten the one clicks, as the fullslips don't always have the best designs. I managed to get the Dark Knight trilogy HDZeta as the double lenti's very kindly as my first ever purchase from Masterblaster when he created that huge sales thread, unfortunately DKR was a single lenti. I'm sure I'll sort the collection out down the years. But I'm very happy I found this place and very grateful for everyone who runs it.
  14. Just received my first Mantalab One click of this! Much love to Media Psychos, MantaLab, Gipsy Danger and all involved for this! A really stellar release.
  15. Forget what they did with that slip box art and full gloss coat, I'm liking the awesome graphics that they've shown on the paws menu!
  16. I got lots of notifications in my email and expected lots of in-hand pics, instead I got lots of J-card hate. Disappointment level over 9000. (side note - I'll take jcards 100 x over blu ray being printed on the actual steel book, also over age-rating certificates being stuck on the physical steel book)
  17. So is this arriving tomorrow if we selected direct from Mantalab or they're being sent out tomorrow?
  18. Is that Joker's general home video release date or Umania's one-click also?
  19. @deckard99 Thanks a lot for the kind info! I'm guessing that's how many people have come to groupbuys! I have a question in regards to the Umania Joker. It's currenty listed as on pause, what does this typically mean and does this frequently happen? I also understand that for the first three purchases I'll have to make a deposit that'll be refunded once the full payment has been made, it made mention of a one-click and single deposit but the links to both of these were broken so not entirely sure with that. In regards to joining a groupbuy before the beauty shots are out, I've no problem with joining and then not being able to back out as I'll a hundred percent be joining ones I know I'll want regardless of designs. The only question regarding this I have is if I join a group buy and state I'll be wanting at least one of the single editions, once the beauty shot comes out am I able to change it to a one-click or to put an additional single edition on? I don't have to join a group buy before a beauty shot and guess which edition will be the one I want? Thanks again for all the kind welcomes!
  20. Aw, this is the loveliest welcome I've ever received on a forum. Thanks guys, and for all of the handy links! Looking forward to taking part in some group buys. I've been paying out of the nose for a lot of premium steelbooks because I was unaware GB's are the way to go and staying up waiting for orders to go live on sites doesn't work! Just got my one-click of John Wick 3 from Ebay today, hoping the next order of mine is form this site! Thanks again for the warm welcomes.
