Introduction (drudwell)

Hello to all,

I am a rather novice collector of films, hailing from the West Coast of Canada. Most recently I've decided to enter into collecting premium editions, some for their impeccable product packaging, and some for their incredible wealth of supplements and features (both external and on the source disk); my biggest reason for entering, however, is to otherwise find films that are not easily obtainable from my region, and to further my knowledge in international cinema as best I can.
My reason for joining MediaPsychos is to join individuals who share a passion for movies, and who wish to celebrate their passion through physical media and its iterations, from the cosmetically beautiful to the supremely ornate, and (more often than not) a supple combination of the two. 

Since recently discovering publishers like WCL, Blu-fans, Plain Archive et al., I've become rather excited to see how many films have received a premium treatment, depending on the curation and the eras of the companies.
