I agree with you there Ann ,these kind of modern Horror  films tend to make you Jump rather than scare you....................

Horror has always been my genre, And in my opinion, Great horror is not the stuff that gets you while you are watching the film, But the things that get you later when you are not. The Things that leave a mark on you and keep in the darkest parts of your mind to haunt your imagination at night.

I remember watching The Ring (original Japan version) when I was still a teenager. It haunted me for so long!!  Truly a piece of art IMO =)

The Ring original I have never seen . The US remake 1 and 2 I did enjoy a lot. I think that WAS because there was such a legacy towards the Original. 

 

The normal someone is spooky Chase me is a turn off .

 

Movies like The Thing , Alien Sev7n and Life are the type i DO ENJOY A LOT ???

I watched a midnight screening with a group of friends and everyone was so afraid to go home alone after the movie, haha. We ended up sending all the girls home =)

That trailer really didn't do anything for me. This looks like a pass for the theater maybe ill redbox it.

I love the concept of the slender man I just feel it’s hard to convert into a decent film there has been a couple attempts And the year are very poor from this trailer could be good or bad I guess will have to wait and see
