Can someone remind me…. I remember something from this movie about a character having tattoos on his knees that represents something about never kneeling for someone or something?

^^ Without spoiling the premise, suffice it to say that the Russian Mob uses tattoos as historical references to a would-be member's past accomplishments.

The "Stars" on the knees, represent a high tier member and they signify he will never submit (grovel on his knees) to threats, even unto pain of death.

Incredible show with astounding actors, highly recommended. 🤩

 

One of the best quotes in the film in fact;

Cassel to Viggo ("These Stars on me are a F**kin' birthmark! You assh**le!")

This movie was freaking incredible. So stoked it wasn’t set aside with all the other films waiting for 4K releases. Can’t wait!
