I had fun with this one.

 

Whether or not I'll be getting it as a premium would require another watch though. Give it some time and let it marinate.

I didn’t think it was as bad as everyone leads you to believe. I enjoyed it for the most part, would I change a few things? yes I would, but I still enjoyed it. I think to many people are used to the same formula in comic book movies (Action, Action, Action) and this was a slow burn that most people didn’t like, with the action peppered in. I will say it felt very disconnected from the rest of the movies, and do wish they would of played more into the 80’s vibe (Music, Hair Styles, etc...) Another issue I had is that they made cheetah a throw away villain. Why would you take one of Wonder Woman’s biggest foes and just throw her away. That same thing P1ssed me off with Black Panther, and there use of Ulysses Klaw. I did think Maxwell Lord did a great job of showing the greedy, power hungry side of humanity.

I think this pretty much sums up how I feel. For me, there were quite a few elements that did make it stand out from other superhero films.

I did enjoy the Indiana Jones globe trotting vibe, and appreciate the homage to old school superman. I was also ok with it not being a superhero movie where the super powers weren’t on full display through out the whole movie. I will watch it again, I Just hope when they make the 3rd movie it bridges everything together, and get back to what we got for the 1st movie.

Same. I particularly enjoyed the whole wish granting device and liked what Pedro Pascal did with the character, particularly during the final 30 minutes where he rises to absolute madman, but is then brought back down to redemptive father.

@Fortis93I did like how they explained the invisible plain, instead of oh here is a invisible plain without any explanation of where it came from.
