I quite like this movie. The first issue came with a really nice lenticular o-ring slip. My guess is that this reissue won't have that.

Looks like a bootleg. Look closely at the graphic design. The lightening comes off of the slip and the boxes are all out shape. Seems like the graphics department did a quick rush job on this. Plus they have used the posters from the movie instead of stealing artwork like they did for Nightmare on Elm Street. I wonder if they even have approval from Warner Bros Italy or they are just trying to slip under the radar with this? Either way I don't like it
@Clifford86 I agree that the beauty shots leave a lot to be desired, but for Nightmare they did go back and get the artwork approvals from the artists so hopefully they have learned from that. I won't make any judgements until I have some of their product in-hand. - Ken

Mine shipped nearly the same time as yours if I remember correctly. I'm hoping I get surprised this week. Would love to spend time with it this weekend.
Hey, what you do when you're alone with your steelbooks is nobody else's business! 😜

But the project for this title has changed? On the cinemuseum social pages I saw other photos of this title along with dancing with wolves.
No, that is a totally unrelated item.-

Sorry so much friend @sobmaster , I checked the package better and the shark tooth was at the bottom, you couldn't see it because it was covered. I'm so sorry, alarm returned 😉.
Good to hear. 👍Thanks @sobmaster

Yes but does this have a paid artist to create something new and interesting like cinemuseum or kung fu Bob for 88 films and others? Nope. Does this have more plastic and cardboard than usual? Yep. Is mags quality to the level of manta with there excellent glossing and texturizing of art? Nope. Is it big and take up alot of space? Yep. Does it have new special features and lots of extras? Nope. Is it a new high quality scan with new presentation? Nope. Is there a plan to do the first one so you have matching sets? Nope. Is it pricey? Yep. These are the issues I have. And you are correct about our collections but I'd give premiums up any day before i gave up criterion, arrow, 88 films, etc. These companies focus more on the films and less on the packaging. This release to me is just a waste of materials that people wont open or look at after the first time. A booklet makes sense And a nice slip makes sense but a Lego toy doesnt lol. But this is just my opinions. I'm glad you and others like it.
@Ryan I have a perfect solution to your "issues". Don't buy it! As you said there are plenty of other editions to choose from. Maybe this one just isn't for you. - Ken

This is just way cool, CM's Poltergeist. Just put in a GB for the Boxset as a regular member. Questiions:
* If I read the fine print correctly, Looks like the GB CM Poltergeist list won't go officially live 'till Nov. 11/12?
* Need to manage my wallet: Anyone here know if Poltergeist is becoming before or after "The Exorcist?" and directly after "Roger Rabbit" and "Last Night in Soho"?
* Same question for "Dracula" and "Fright Night." What's a good guess on when these puppies are going to "give birth," LOL.
* CM's preorder date has nothing to do with our GB. We secure our allocation before the preorder.
* With CM it is impossible to say for sure, but they have announced releases through March/April and this isn't on that list, so my guess is later
* Same question, same answer - no idea

No prob at all. Didn't mean to be snarky, just wanted you to know I did my due diligence before posting here. There are a few things that are crazy silly deals on UK WarnerBros shop and would love to grab some things. Have a good one @Boilersteel!
Are you sure those items on the UK Warner Bros shop aren't available elsewhere?

@deckard99 I signed up for this group buy last night, but I still haven't seen a request to join the club. I was just wondering since all the other group buys, I usually got an invite within the hour. Thanks
Please try to remember that the staff have jobs and lives outside of MP. We do GB updates and club invites as time permits.

Are they more pricey compared to black hawk down.
This is 1329 CNY and BHD was 898 CNY (retail prices). BR2049 is a bigger and more deluxe set then BHD, hence the higher cost.

@Reagh Sorry to hear this. I always recommend that members use our group buys for CM. If a problem happens with a direct order, then there is nothing we can do to help. - Ken
