There was also one other unique release. A Warner Bros. Store UK Store Exclusive which has the same art used on that Korean Digibook (Collectong).

There is 2 versions. A 4K with Blu-ray and just a Blu-ray. Not steelbooks though.

I purchased a version from Korea with this art from Novamedia, while it was an amaray version, had a nice slip and had 4K, 3D and Blu-ray all on one.

It is sold out but there is plenty of Korean sellers on ebay that sell and would have at list price.

Wanted to share in case anyone is interested.

Keep your eyes peeled. They will come up every so often. Price wise, that isn't too high. Comparing to other releases that have gone way high, that is not too bad. And I have actually purchased a few things from xxxxx and is a great seller. xxxxx is another good one from China that sells similar stuff and prices. Also very good.

Sometimes it does work. I re ordered 5 or 6 items recently that I had previously, and second time around, which I just got were all perfect. (HMV orders).

Unfortunately now I can't afford.

I has said I just received a German Box Set today that looks like a brick landed on it. And that I probably could not give it away.

Out $140.

Nothing to discuss. In the past when I received damaged items, even items that were cut down the front with a knife, too bad. It is what it is.

@hal56 is correct. And this is the main reason I use MP's general Zavvi/HMV/France/Germany GBs. These always arrive in pristine condition because any damaged copies are rejected by the HUB doing the ordering and returned/replaced before they get sent out to our members. Plus once within MP they are handled with great care (proper box, lots of bubble wrap, etc.)

 

Unfortunately my experience has not been the same. Between Zavvi, HMV and German Group Buys.
In fact I received a German box s
Out $140.
Oh well.

Thanks. Just trying to find out it is safe to unfollow these release threads and still find out about actual release info if I follow his thread.
These release threads get bombarded with a TON of posts that have nothing to do with the actual release. 
I wish there was an actual thread if people want to just chat like it is facebook or something. 
I simply want release info. It gets old getting e-mails for 100s of notifications of chat.
I am sure it is just me and everyone else likes it.
So trying to figure out a work around.

Was a bit hesitant as I prefer to order it myself because when using the group buys, if I receive damaged, I am stuck with it and out how much ever I spent, plus fees and shipping. And still have to get item somehow.
If I order myself, a least I can do something when and if I receive damaged.
But in this case, I have no other way to order.

Still on the fence if I want to order. It is pretty pricey once I add in a ll the extra fees and shipping. It will bump it up pretty high. 
So trying to decide if it is worth it or just order the regular still myself.

Interesting. The pics show an edition of 148, but the specs were for 99 copies. See first page where they showed what it would look like. Still says 99 copies.

Also, is this a new style of wood box? The past ones are closed with a hinge spine that you open up. The last pic shows that you can see on the inside, as far as what comes in it, and is open edge? But still looks like a wood box? Maybe just a different type?

Agree and always wondered how it would have played out if Tarantino DID direct it. (True Romance). I don't think it would have been that different.

Love True Romance and still really feels like a Tarantino film, unlike Natural Born Killers. Oliver Stone butchered that script. 

Interesting, for once and Exclusive might actually be an exclusive.

There is a Limited Edition Blu ray and UHD version that is not this steelbook. 

Arrow's website has and is the same as what DiaboikDVD in the US shows as well. Neither has this steelbook version listed.

So nice. Interesting that they decided to flip the cover on Blade Runner 2049. Guessing because they wanted to do the art over both and had to do it that way.
