  1. Watched Wonder Woman and a couple others tonight.

    Wonder Woman:

I really don't know how to feel about WW to be honest.

I didn't know what to expect because I never saw any of the trailers.

I saw her cameo in Dark Knight Rises but that was all.

The visual and audio aspect was great.  Looks real good at 4K( :p ) and the sound gave my 21" subs a good pounding.

But somehow the story just didn't do anything for me.

I found WW to be skeptical and unsure to the point of being annoying in some scenes.

But on the other hand I also found her powerful and confident in others.

Her character was all over the place.

I also found the CGI aspects of the movie to not look very realistic especially when she blows through all the Germans on the airfield in the end.

It was decent.  Not a movie I would watch again.

I think it could have been a lot better.

It gets a 6/10 from me.

@Scary Hair is going to think I'm nuts but I hated Snowpiercer.

    Snowpiercer:

I found it totally off the wall, and I thought the fight scenes were terribly done.

It's a movie that I think fantasy and sci-fi lovers will like.

I really don't have much to say about it really.

It was disappointing from start to end with a lot of unrealistic scenes.

It gets a 3/10 from me.

    Must Love Dogs:

    Beautifully done and romantic comedy.

I'm a big fan of John Cusack and I adore Diane Lane the more I see of her.

I am trying to complete my Cusack library and am about 2/3rds the way there with 25 of his movies.

Very realistic type of love story.

The trials and tribulations of internet dating at it's most honest with lies and deception a big part of 2 people getting together.

Great scene when the 2 want to have sex for the first time but neither have condoms.  A hilarious few minutes transpires as they drive around trying to find an open drug store to find them.

I think a lot of guys say they hate romance or in this case romance/comedy movies but I think they are liars if the female cast member is such a beautiful woman like Miss Lane.

I will watch this again many times over.  Great date movie in my books.

For it's genre type I give it an 8/10 and my seal of approval.

    Love and Other Drugs:

    Another romantic/drama type movie.

It was totally not what I expected but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Anne Hathaway's character is not only physically beautiful but mentally and emotionally beautiful as well.

Her character tugged at my heart strings more then once.

Same as Jake Gyllenhaal's character.  I felt terrible for him and what he and she put him through during parts of the movie.

Her disease took a lot out of me the way her personality changes throughout the movie.

Sometimes I was like you B****, and others I was thinking she was the sweetest person in the world especially when she realized we all need somebody in our life.

As I've said it was an emotionally draining movie with lot's of ups and downs.

It's my type of movie and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I give it an 8/10 and my seal of approval.

P.S.  I do not get into details when I do this on purpose.  I don't want to give away anything if someone hasn't watched the movie.

I gotta agree with you!! And thank you! :D

I can't even remember the first movie I saw her in now that I think about it. I know it was early 2000s. The Perfect Score? Or maybe something else. OR actually Home Alone 3!! Lol.

Drag Me to Hell is meant to be more gross out comedy than horror imho. I'd like to hear your opinion on it if you end up watching it, but it definitely has nightmare fuel! I used to have nightmares about Chucky and now I love that friggin doll lol. Helps that I found out Brad Dourif voices him and I adore him!!

    Thank you so much!! :)

I'll let you know when I get a chance to see it.

My nightmares are very vivid and I have them at least once a week.

It's always the Hulk finding me no matter where I am and towering over me as he's screaming.

It's followed up by him picking me up and throwing me into things.  eg. brick walls, cars, buses, buildings.  After he does it 2-3 times the nightmare ends.

Lou Ferrigno just freaks me out.   :D

  3. Cheap and easy.

Cut a piece of paper or heavier art paper to the same size of the steelbook.

Slide it in and out with the Steelbook.

If you want to go a step further go to an art store and buy cotton art paper or acid free mat boards and cut to size.

    Stupid thought and simple solution.

Small roll of clean film or shrink wrap with the handle.

Wrap around Steelbook once and replace every time.

$5 roll would probably be good for 100,000 steelbooks.  LOL

Snooze you loose is right, especially for such a sexy FAC

So you are the guys who keep screwing me over eh!   ?

Luckily my persistence pays off most of the time.

But getting outbid by a few cents on that one SP HDZETA totally cheesed me off.

Yes. As soon as we have them all at the Hub.

Real problems with Customs etc in USA and elsewhere. Stuff is sitting for weeks in customs, that used to take a few days to get through.

A sign of the world we live in nowadays I’m afraid.

Nobody has been missed. Just got to sit tight and wait.

    Thanks.

It's not just in the US.

I had packages sitting  here for 3 weeks.

3 orders, from 3 different people all from the UK.

I found out here it isn't customs fault.  It is Canada Post(may be the same with USPS).

How it works here is Canada Post has warehouses full of packages/mail and feeds customs as needed.

Customs doesn't have storage it's all controlled by the Post offices.

Customs just scans packages and is done with them.

So packages come in to the Post Office, got to holding until fed to customs.  Customs gets it and it goes back into the Post office warehouses for distribution.

@Scary Hair I love your Movie taste 1f60a.png Gladiator awesome, Mad Max awesome and Lord of the Rings the best Trilogy every made besides the original Star Wars (I know we don't agree on that one 1f609.png)

Also @Kingpin I can't belive it that you never saw TLoTR & Mad Max you're surely making fun of us, please stop that nonsense 1f606.png

I find it hard to pick any favorite movie scene. When I like something I like the complete package.

Well I've only really got into serious movie watching since May last year.

The Genre of LOTR and Harry Potter I find hard to watch.

Mad Max I always wanted to watch during a movie binge at one time.

  9. @Scary Hair Believe it or not I have never watched any of the LOTR or Mad Max films.  Same as Star Wars or Harry Potter.

And I have them all in my library.

I even have the Harry Potter Wizard's Collection set that cost me a hell of a lot of money.  LOL
