I certainly like it! And it's a hell of a lot better than the steel we got for FAR FROM HOME. 🤣 Got my copy pre-ordered, and hoping to see the movie tomorrow, but we'll see. -
You guys are making me excited for my copy of DUNE to arrive! I ordered through Best Buy, so gotta wait a few more weeks. Wonderful movie, though; can't wait to see part two.

I ordered that Halloween edition this morning. Are the ratings removable stickers by chance? I love the look of the Monsterverse steels, too, but can’t bring myself to double-dip on ‘em. I mean, I really want to, but I’m holding myself back in the hopes of my group buys here finally start moving forward. Gotta keep the cash handy for those! 😂😅

Some recent Best Buy arrivals! — Shang-Chi — Jungle Cruise — Venom: Let There Be Carnage I dig the debossing on Shang-Chi, but wish a bit more had been done with the art work. Hopefully they do something similar with the title for Eternals.

Agreed. Although, I have to admit, between this and Black Widow I'm already bored with the art style... I wouldn't mind seeing something a bit livelier and am curious to see what they do for The Eternals. But yeah, it does look better in hand, and the debossed title is an excellent touch. It'd be nice if studios put a bit more effort in these editions.

Nice! I haven't spent the $1500/year to qualify for the Elite shipping (which, good on me!, I guess? 😂). Mine's still stuck at the basic free shipping over $35.

Prior to this year, I've had really good experiences with Best Buy. Now they can't even send out preorders on time... Hopefully the right their ship soon. My next couple preorders all say release date delivery, so we'll see what happens. I know at the time I ordered Jungle Cruise they were only guaranteeing release day delivery for those who paid $16 for shipping. I kept it at $3.99, but wasn't expecting them to keep it until the end of the month. It's crazy to me. And from what they're website says, if I were able to cancel the order I could reorder it and have sooner than if I waited for them to actually ship my preorder. WHAT?! 🤣

LOL Seriously - congrats! Glad it made to you safe and sound. I hope Best Buy is using all this extra time to package mine with care and that it will arrive safely...eventually...wrapped in like five pounds of bubble wrap. 🤣

Congrats to those able to grab the Jungle Cruise steel! I pre-ordered it in September and mine has been in packaging status for a week. Apparently it isn't expected to ship until Nov. 29, despite the website on Monday, when it was still up for pre-order, promising a delivery date of Thursday, Nov. 18... The product page right now shows a delivery date of Nov. 25, which is still earlier than my estimated ship date. And I can't even switch to in-store pickup, where it's available at two nearby stores. This is really frustrating. Best Buy has really crapped the bed of late.

Oh! And the addition of the Sicario steelbook let me add yet another skull-motif steelbook to my inadvertently-growing skull steelbook collection! 🤣 (The last Pirates of the Caribbean is another one with some slick debossing!)

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to upgrade Sicario and Total Recall to their steelbook editions editions during Best Buy’s recent $12.99 sale. Glad I did! Especially for Sicario, which has some really sleek embossing. I wish more studious would put these kind of textural flourishes on their retail steels.

I think it releases on the 30th Stateside, and who knows when Best Buy will decide to start shipping…

Between the photos posted here and the $12.99 sale price, I could not freaking resist! Just grabbed a copy (along with the Total Recall steel, also on sale) from my local Best Buy and holy cow! This is one hell of a steelbook! Absolutely gorgeous!
