I'm passing on this one, too. The art just isn't there for me, and the retail steelbook I got from Best Buy is good enough for me. But when they get around to THE BATMAN, I'll be gunning for that sucker hard as I can. And if they're going to be including collectibles, there better be a batarang! -

My OCD will be pitching the same fit! I'm still livid about the retail Craig-era James Bond steelbooks. The first four all match up, and then bam, fifth and final flick has an entirely different aesthetic, can't even line up the spine logos to match.

Ooof, yeah, that does make it harder for sure. You have my sympathies! I’d asked my wife if she wanted to watch it with me on HBO Max and she gave me a funny look. “Isn’t that the one with the big worm thing in it?” ”yeah!” ”ugh. No. You go ahead.” I’ve watched it twice now. 😁

I had to spring for the lenticular digibook of THE SUICIDE SQUAD direct from Manta Lab earlier this month since I just couldn’t wait for Cine Museum to release their edition… 😅😂 Pretty happy with this! FullSizeRender.MOV

Congrats to everyone who was able to buy direct! I (somehow, blessedly!) made it into the group buy, but boy am I glad to have checked out Manta's website anyway - I saw a listing for the Godzilla vs Kong digibook and was able to snag that! 😄 Fingers crossed they put their Dune digibook back up one of these days.

Since it doesn't look like Ghostbusters Afterlife is getting a steelbook release in the US, has there been any rumblings of a fullslip steelbook edition coming out? Maybe something along the lines of CX Media or SM Life releases?

My sympathies to all who didn't make the list. I know that crushing disappointment well! Frankly, I can't believe I somehow made it through to the final list for the human motherbox. This is amazing! Looks like this is going to be my first successful group buy, finally, and holy cow what a first! (Although I'm on the list for several others, made a deposit on one, and am hoping they start moving forward at some point soon... and hopefully not all at once 🤣)
