No luck yet, sorry! I have two young boys and they have some kind of sixth sense - whenever I want to do something after they're in bed, they somehow know and do everything in their power to sabotage me. 🤣🤣🤣 We ended up watching a Shark Week thing on Disocovery+ and then I passed out. Thankfully, @Gary Kposted a much better review than I'd be capable of! -
I’m excited to give it a watch. I think we’ll be working on through some Shark Week stuff first though… 😂😂

Finally got my 4K steelbook edition of The Northman from Zavvi! Nice and glossy, too; I just wish the title had been debossed to give it that little extra oomph. I’m digging it overall, though!

Agreed. The admins, mods, and staff have been doing great work. I've only been here a year, but in that time I've found the group buys to be pretty easy to navigate and any help I've needed has always been accommodated. I like it here! And as somebody who has worked retail in the past and continues to have to work with the public, I can commiserate. Every job I've ever had, it's always been people that have been the worst part of 'em! 🤪 -

Looks like the official press release for Multiverse of Madness was issued in June, roughly a month after theatrical and a month a few weeks before the blu-ray release. The steelbook artwork probably leaked a bit earlier. We'll probably start seeing stuff for Thor in a couple weeks. -

I think it's been a while since they've done pre-orders alongside the theatrical release. I remember walking out of the first Avengers and pre-ordering it soon as I got back to my car. Those days are long gone, unfortunately! It takes a while now before we see anything, let alone a steelbook. I imagine they have to look through all the promo art materials and figure out which one's the worst one they could use for the retail steel, and that takes time. 🤣🤣🤣 -

Poured a cup of coffee, turn around to put the cream back in the fridge, picked up the cup...and saw that, in that brief moment I had my back turned, a fly had immediately killed itself in my drink. I guess it's going to be that kind of day... On the bright side, I got my pre-registration info submitted the Nolan Batman BluFans, so it's not been a complete wash! -

And that’s if customs is on the ball. It’s been taking me about 3 weeks to get stuff from the UK. It’s funny, The Dark Knight from China and The Witch from the UK both arrived in Chicago on the same day last week. Dark Knight spent a few days there before arriving on Monday. The Witch hasn’t budged. Not sure if it has to do with the shipping or if the Chicago customs has some kinda grudge with the UK! 😂 or, you know, they lost my copy of The Witch… and The Northman… 😂😭😭😭
