I think the picture on the right is correct and there no logo on the upper part of spine, but not 100% sure, will see if a family member can take a picture at home, if not will take one tonight when I can.

They are blurays and not 4k (ultra hd), so pretty sure there is no ultra hd listed on spine.

Definitely, will add those pics this evening once home. All titles in spine are in English and deathly hollows part 1 on the spine is spelled correctly, unlike on the front of the steelbook (deaithly).

Looked at videos of prior releases and actually doesn't look like it is spot gloss (don't want to lead anyone astray). As before, I guess I would describe it as shimmery matte. Would be interesting to see if this is the same release as the UK one. Either way looks awesome!

Ecstatic about this Harry Potter Fnac steelbook collection! As seen in the picture below FNAC double boxed it, and outer case is in phenomenal condition. English titles on spine, on steelbooks, and on outer metal box. The only French I notice is on the J card and on the actual blu ray discs. Matte finish I believe with spot gloss as well. Can't tell exactly the finish but certain parts of each case shimmer. Blurays play in my US bluray player, as a bonus as I definitely didn't buy this for the blurays. Back in stock on FNAC as well, but probably not for long. Definitely worth it!

Has anybody received this yet? Interested to see if any spot gloss on the steelbooks. Someone on reddit posted pics and just looks like full matte like the Best Buy version. Would be interested if anyone can confirm?

Just shipped today. Probably will have french titles, but total cost came out to 76 US dollars. Of note, this was ordered with a few other preorders so shipping is lower than usual, but even if purchased alone it was only around 90 dollars total. 8 steelbooks and a case for that price was hard to pass up (even if it is only bluray). Should be here by Monday.

Standard edition steelbook version is in stock again on Zavvi UK, deluxe edition is still sold out.

Here are the pictures of the rest of the damage. Black Widow corner dings (I can live with that). A Clock Work Orange dented in side (not so good), and the pin marks from the last post (also not so good).

TOC pin placement is terrible. Who really thought it would be a good idea to place the pins above the steelbook in the plastic, just so they can fall down in transit and dent the steelbook. Thanks TOC for my 4 pin marks on the Clockwork Orange steelbook. I also knew as soon as I saw that FNAC sent the Black Widow steelbook and TOC A Clockwork Orange together that it might not be pretty. Both just floating in the same box banging around. Amazingly Black Widow only has small corner ding. In addition to my pin dents, FNAC also blessed me with a dented in side (not pictured)to the Clock Work Orange steelbook. Word to the wise, if you order from FNAC try to preorder items that come out different weeks apart. If not then expect damaged items in transit. If ordered that way each will be sent in an individual box with a much better chance to arrive safely. Have had mostly good experiences from FNAC (with individual items), but should have remembered that FNAC has never heard of bubble wrap.

I would add a 4th thing to the list. Do I purchase the European or USA version? Seems like the past year the European versions are mostly matte and the US versions are mainly gloss. Unfortunately, by the time you find out the finish it might be sold out. Decisions, decisions...

Looks like this TOC title is 34.99 euros while prior releases were 29.99 euros. Might be worth it if they delivered a quality product. More than a few have come dented and scratched even when they were delivered in a box and the outer plastic showed no signs of damage. The fact that the steelbooks are not sealed and can scrape against the hard plastic during packaging and upon opening just furthers the scratch risk. Disappointing, as I do like the look of many of their releases.

This one has been restocked at Weet maybe 4 or 5 times now. Currently out of stock, but wouldn't be surprised if gets restocked again. Plus they send double boxed. I think total cost to US was about 58 dollars (that includes shipping). If I see it get restocked I will give a holler.

Best Buy steelbook is awesome, just a pain to try to get one in decent shape, and the random restocking/lack of stock is frustrating. Also available from Fnac. Will be interesting to see the finish of the Fnac version.

My SM2 has the same issues. I think a little of the paint on the back of the full slip was missing right under where the number card was at. There is also a scratch on the top left corner of the SM2 steelbook and hairline vertical scratches on the back as well. Disappointed as SM1 and 3 have no issues.
