  1. @extantsrevenge. My submission for the Media Psychos steelbook award is also back on page 4 if you are in an award giving mood🤞
  2. Technically it looked like it dropped at 3:30 am US eastern time. Casually woke up when alarm went off to get ready for work. Opened Media Psychos to find this feeding frenzy. Best of luck to all!
  3. An appetizer arrived while my WeEt set is in transit. Zavvi will never be confused for a premium, but this is a very nice looking box.
  4. After reading the posts, seeing the pictures, and missing out on the brief Zavvi restock weeks back, I finally went the aftermarket route. More expensive than Zavvi price, but this is a great looking box and happy to own it. Also actually fits in the SCF4 case (box is a little thin for the case but just happy it fits). The Zavvi original Dune and A Clockwork Orange boxes are too wide for the SCF4 cases or any of the cases I own.
  5. Fullslip looks amazing as well. Now we just need CM to show us that box!
  6. Unfortunately, you now have a new competitor when it pops up on Ebay (if it ever shows up at a reasonable price). That edition is gorgeous! LOL 😎
  7. @extantsrevenge. Here is my submission for the WeEt Treasure Hunter Award. Bring on Antman and the Wasp!
  8. I am patiently waiting for all of the James Bond movies that have yet to have a steelbook: The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Octopussy, A View To A Kill, The Living Daylights, Licence To Kill, and Tomorrow Never Dies. I would also like to see Never Say Never Again get a steelbook release even though it is not an official Bond movie. Each year goes by and still no releases for these 🤔
  9. Ooh, very good point. What was this special gift withthis release. CM still has a ? mark on the box in their picture. Looked like one sold on Ebay 12/30 that had what looks like a red pin or circle thing. Was that the gift?
  10. At that price with the pretty severe crease on the back can't imagine it sells. Difficult to look at that large crease on the back on such a grail. 😬
  11. On Ebay right now little less than 12 hr left starting bid $450. Line indentation on top back and torn plastic per notes. No bids yet.
  12. No, I meant the CM release wording from prior posts. The Media Psychos group buy wording has been clear all along.
  13. Would be thrilled if they did somehow release more of the lenticulars in a boxset someday. Guess we can keeping dreaming. 🙏
  14. Yeah the wording made it sound like it was another boxset, but most people on here seem to think it was meaning the empty boxset that was already on the groupbuy. Pretty confident but who knows with CM.
  15. The groupbuy for the Cinemuseum The Thing was run for the full slip or the fullslip with the the box, so I think that was already done and is closed.
  16. I interpret it to mean this: The Thing fullslip preorder February 12th, then the mystery designed empty box pre-order in March. Crazy never saw an advertisement for an empty box before.
  17. So it sure sounds like the third paragraph should say "possible to pre-order the final empty box". Saying it is possible to to pre-order the boxset doesn't sound right as it sure looks like they are just meaning the empty box. Am I correct in my understanding?
  18. Bestbuy: Usually sends in envelope and 50% of the time is damaged by mail service. Occasionally comes in box, but still 25% chance for spine slash or dinged edge. Can usually get steelbooks in great shape in store day of release. Usually buy online for in store pick up. Depends on your store. Some stores treat the steelbooks terribly and everyone is damaged. Some are a little gentler on them and have ones in great shape for instore pickup. Shoutfactory: Sends singles in envelope that are easily dented. Never bought 2 at time, but 3 sent in a box with with little protection other that it being stored on white Shoutfactory paper. 1 out about 8 came perfect. 4 of 8 came in reasonable condition with just small dents or spine slashes. Even if it survives the mail, it is usually damaged from the company before sending. Best chance is the ones that were in Best Buy stores or FYE stores before they get picked through. FNAC: Uses a box to ship and DHL and only takes about a week to get to US. No bubble wrap, so multiple steelbook tend to bang into each other during transit. Singles tend to arrive without damage, but sometimes FNAC puts the steelbook sideways in the box so it is right near the edge of the box and one wrong tap of the box damages the steelbook. 75% of single releases survive transit and arrive in great condition. Usually try to order a bunch of prereleases at the same time that are all released at different times and they will ship jdividually. Zavvi: Used to ship everything in its own cardboard mailer. The design of the carboard mailer is just awesome and >75% of time it survives the trip. Now apparently send multiples together which I don't trust so usually buy individuals and just pay the extra $5 per delivery to hope it arrives in good shape. It it doesn't Zavvi will usually offer a percent refund or if refund is repeatedly refused will offer replacement if product is still available. Each email response takes 24 hours, so patience is needed. Long delivery times are not unusual at minimal 7 days and up to 30 days or longer. I believe it it gets over 30 days you should contact them to make sure it wasnt lost in the mail. Usually if the steelbook survives the trip it arrives in great condition as Zavvi seems to show better care handling steelbooks than Best Buy. Cede: They charge in Euros and don't charge shipping. Similar cardboard mailer like Zavvi bit thinner. Takes a little longer longer than FNAC to arrive, but not as long as Zavvi. Have Disney 3d steelbooks at awesome prices currently. Not sure anyone will ever look at this, but just wanted to share my experiences if anyone interested.
  19. Arrived this past week and in perfect condition! Zavvi shipped in a nice thick box, and there are zero scratches on any of the steelbooks. Can't say the same about the Harry Potter ones previously received. There is still hope for Warner Brothers releases after all.
  20. My life is easier when the invoices are separated by a few months. I get "the look" when Media Psychos sends me about 3 invoices in the same week, and she asks me what on earth I bought for that kind of money. 😓
  21. Any idea on when Weet plans to release this? Very excited to see the designs. Steelbook looks excellent. Let's go Weet!
