Just watched Black Panther Wakanda Forever today. Hard to see how anyone wouldn't like this movie. A step up from some of the previous MCU entries, in my opinion.

Just arrived from FNAC. They did sneak some French on the slip that didn't show up in the FNAC pictures, but it is small and is probably has some of the few French words I can actually read.
For less than the cost of the Best Buy steelbook you get a full slip, a booklet (in French of course but still has very nice pictures), a poster, and some nice postcards. The tradeoff is no digital copy. Steelbook also arrived in perfect shape, also likely much different than if it would have been purchased from Best Buy.

I've never bought direct from FAC before. Shipping was outrageous. Ouch. Do they send tracking info?
First ever purchase from them. Would have preferred the groupbuy, but at the time I had missed out. Feel like I have gotten 10 or more emails from them with all the emails stating the same thing that I am registered, so I am just waiting for a shipped email from them, hopefully that will come.

It also looks like I have copies on France HUB 🤬

If anyone from France our the EU is interested please let me know.
Thanks @extantsrevenge for reaching out, but I bought The Thing direct from FAC, because I missed out on it in this groupbuy (although it still hasn't shipped 🤔) Please offer it to the next in line.

The way I read it was the slip gets sent end of month and the box will be sent at a later date when the artwork becomes available but now your making me second guess 😂.I like your interpretation, will go with that.

they said this on FB to someone.workin progress. The artworks we have selected are currently bound by an exclusive contract that will expire in 2023.
We preferred to wait to offer a very special Box!Thanks for the info. Even after reading that a few times, I still ask what does that exactly mean? Initially it sounds like those who ordered the box with the full slip will not have it sent end of November/early December, but not really sure.

Wonder when we will get to see the artwork of the box.

Not:
DN, FRWL, GF, TB, YOLT, OHMSS, DAF, TMWTGG, TSWLM, MR, FYEO, OY, or DAD.
Wait, what about A View To A Kill?

Many times. I’m always told "soon". I have every damn CM release secured, only waiting on the last 3 editions and the 2 Goonies OC’s to ship.
You are a patient man, I am sorry to hear that. 😞

I’m tempted to buy it if only to get them to send me other 2. I just double checked and I paid for the first 2 on November 15th of 2021! 🤬Did you reach out to CM, what did they say? Obviously they still have some in stock.

At this point I am almost surprised when a steelbook from TOC comes without a pin sized dent. Who would have thought putting a pin right above the steelbook would probably indent the steelbook, obviously not TOC.
This one did indeed come with the usual pin size dent. Probably can take this apart and use a pencil to get it to look better, but it is just another chore. I agree steelbook is nothing to write home about. Looking forward to watching the movie in 4K though.

Just looks like it is from an old one, might as well guess the oldest one there is: Dr. No?

Just added this to a nice big order from FNAC, price is pretty good and when multiple items are purchased the shipping is much more reasonable.

I was going to ask if you've started PT.
Quad shutdown is quite common post reconstruction. Don't worry about the shock. It feels a little weird and takes a little getting used to but it's not bad. We were required to try it on ourselves in school so we would know what our patients feel. It inevitably turned into a game of who could take the most 🤣
I'm sure you'll be fine and crush PT 👍
All of a sudden out of the blue today my quad began to work again, so maybe it won't need shocked tomorrow. I went from gingerly stepping to briskly walking (with crutches of course) in a matter of minutes.
Thank you everyone for the well wishes and thanks @GuyIncognit0 for the helpful information!

Challenge 11.
1, Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan. After ST The Motion Picture, which was just plain boring to me. Brought back Khan from the TV show and brought the action and death. My favorite ST alone with First Contact.
2. SW: Empire Strikes Back. Expand on Star Wars and brought in a dark aspect where the good guys don't win.
3. Blade runner 2049. Expanding on the Replicants and bringing in back stories connecting the original and even after 30 years, still widely discriminated against. Not better than the original though.
4. Toy Story 2. Giving Woody his back story and Jesse's tragic past. Probably my favorite of the 4.
5. Hellboy 2. Just Expanding on the universe. Bringing in the elfs. Much better antagonists than Rasputan.
A film I would live to see a sequel would be Dredd. Karl Urban did such a great Job as Dredd. Just had trouble getting box office when released. Thanks Stallone. Might work well as a TV Series.
Nice spine magnet on The Empire Strikes Back, covering up the biggest steelbook fail of all time. I have the same one.

Challenge 11
1. Star Trek Into Darkness: Can't remember much about this movie, but it has Benedict Cumberbatch in it, so that is one superior thing in it than it's predecessor.
2. X-men United: Nice to see heros and villains of the first movie have to work together to survive in the second movie
3. TMNT2: Vanilla ice and super shredder, enough said.
4. Far From Home: Prague, Venice, Austria, Berlin, London, and the Netherlands scenes are amazing while Homecoming is confined to the US.
5. The Dark Knight: What can you say, best Joker ever.
The movie that I most want a sequel to really doesn't seem forgotten, neglected, or underappreciated, but it still lacks a film sequel, and that is Fight Club.

Loved the movie, unfortunately full slip back artwork leaves a lot to be desired. Like the back artwork of the lenticular, but undecided on the front. Sitting on the fence on this one.
