  1. Yes it is, I love that art! I was thinking of getting the BluFans, but I don't really care for most of the art tbh
  2. I forgot to mention, I still have a challenge for next week. And a backup, if the first is too hard or stupid.
  3. I was taking pics for the Psycho Challenge (which I recommend you all do if you haven't already), and decided to take pics of my Trek collection while I'm at it. I wish my shelf was wider, so I could have Enterprise be front facing, but sadly it's the only one without a box. 20220918_111502.mp4
  4. Okay, I've got mine all assembled now. Here we go! The King, the Big Daddy, the Allfather, #1 has gotta be HDZeta's The Dark Knight Trilogy. The OCs themselves are still unopened, so I can't show off too much, but the motherbox alone makes it top tier. And of course, @ksosk's magnificent custom piece, which I was lucky to have included when I bought this from one of John's sales. TDK is still the best comic book movie, the best Batman movie, and one of my favorites after 14 years. Batman Begins is nearly as good, and TDKR is definitely not as bad as people say. This is also without a doubt my most expensive premium, and as such the value is self-evident. #2 has the Internet's favorite lady—Ana de Armas—plastered all over the cover, and in gorgeous pink and blue shades: UHD CLUB's Blade Runner 2049. Another snag from John's sales, and another unopened one. I used to think my favorite color was blue, but now I think it might be pink. I love that it's wood, I love the choice of scene from the movie (as does everyone else), and I love that I got over my stupid rule of "Steelbooks only", otherwise I'd never have gotten this, or some other quality sh!t. I think it's funny to have this as one of my favorites, because I thought the movie sucked big time. But DAMN, you can't beat this box or the first two slips. #3 is WeET's Captain Marvel. I initially only wanted the helmet slip, because I couldn't really justify spending so much on an OC of a movie I disliked. But then I thought, how about I don't justify it? And now I have a beautiful box with beautiful content that features beautiful people and a cat. This one solidified my love of the color pink. #4 is KimchiDVD's From Dusk Till Dawn. Boobs. Okay, now that that's out of the way, god this is just a wonderful slip. The excessive pink, the embossed title, the ornamentation surrounding the characters, the lovely Salma Hayek front and center, it deserves a chef's kiss. And finally, we have one of my earliest premiums. It might actually be my first premium steelbook. The horrific #5, Filmarena's Alien. What do I have to say? Just look at it. They really went above and beyond for this one, with the "embossing" here. It sticks out so much, they had to send an XL protector for it. And I'm afraid to take it out, I don't want to ruin it or even scratch it. A perfect premium for a perfect movie, my only regret is not getting the Maniac's Box, even though this is hands down the best slip form it. Actually I'm not sure if FAC counts. If it does or doesn't, I'll add in another anyway. New #5 is Cinemuseum's The Thing. This was my grail for quite some time, and it was worth getting it in the end. You can't beat the Drew Struzan art, don't even try, and making it a lenti? Pure genius. It only makes sense that a masterpiece of a movie gets a masterpiece of a slip. Call this an honorary mention, since I'm already editing this post. But I would call this my first real premium, even if there aren't any steels. The 50th Anniversary Star Trek TV and Movie Collection. I had gotten it for a birthday of mine, after watching TOS for the first time a couple years ago. It has all 3 seasons of The Original Series, all of the Animated Series, and all 6 TOS movies, and even has DS9's magnum opus, Trials and Tribble-ations! The posters are amazing, and it came with a magentic Starfleet emblem but it's somewhere in my room, have to find it. It's a little hard to see in the pic, but I love the transportation effect on the main 7. I love Star Trek, and I love this box set.
  5. It's funny, last night I was organizing my bookcases again in order of favorite premiums (one for steel, other nonsteel) instead of alphabetical. So I will be back!
  6. After examining my meager lenti collection, I've decided that my favorite is Manta's The Prestige. 20220914_074215.mp4 Simple yet effective, very mesmerizing, a bit unnatural in presentation. Just like the movie. Despite this being a depth lenti, my favorite type is actually transition. Ironically, I have none to showcase so I'm going with some non-steel lenticulars: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. 20220914_074456.mp4 20220914_074515.mp4 I have a challenge for next week, and it's truly too Psycho* for most of you! *I am legally required to say that the level of "Psycho" is completely subjective.
  7. I'm already set with the CM release, so after seeing the BS Manta showed us, I'll probably do FS only as well. Some real laziness on the lentis, it's quite a shame.
  8. I'm actually like half and half on what I open these days, some like HDZ TDK is just too valuable to touch, so everything inside will stay there.
  9. Well in any case (ba dum tss), like you said I have enough editions so it doesn't matter. Thanks though!
  10. I think Discovery has finally found its groove with Season 4, and SNW had the best start of all the new live action shows. And Picard, I'm looking forward to all the nostalgia in Season 3.
  11. I know, I'm very ashamed 😔 I thought about getting the 50th anniversary set, but I don't like the border! Maybe I'll relent.
  12. BTW did A Writer's Odyssey count @extantsrevenge? It's technically a slip that opens on one side, with only one edition inside. Unless it's too fat, or the extra content counts as another edition.... in which case it's a One Click 😱
  13. Go America! Literally the only thing we're good for right now is collecting Full Slips!
  14. I don't know what you're talking about! This looks like an anime to me
