From the pics that I've seen, I really liked The Thing lenti from them (and honestly wish I could've picked it up). I also just picked up Terrifier from CM within this last month or so and I liked that lenti too. I know some people hate lentis but I enjoy them 🤧

Me showing up here after being tagged: Lol. Don't kill me for this, but I agree with you Basil. I used to be more active in here before these days of the week things were implemented. It's kinda become.. for lack of a better term... very male oriented in this room because it seems to cater to that in a very... sorry I don't know how else to say it, but very sexualized manner versus the rest of the site. I'm a very chill person and I don't judge or anything nor am I a prude by any means, but it does seem to lean towards catering to what guys on the site find hot or moving it towards that with the particular themes. I understand the testosterone comment. I can see why other women on the site might not jump to join with that sort of theme element. Some might get the wrong impression as well if they're newer (I don't because I've interacted with most people in here at one point or another positively) and if they don't know better. It might not be so inviting to newer ladies, as I'd say this is a bit of a horndog area lol even if it may be unintentional. No disrespect intended by the way! I just found it interesting Basil thought this too since I'm assuming Basil is a guy (hope I'm not incorrect, forgive me if so) and usually this is up the alley. But don't take it weirdly or anything, this is all your area lol and you've cultivated it over time, I just didn't expect someone else (esp who's not a woman) to say it so I thought I might chime in about it Off I go now, hope you're all staying safe and doing well!

I was just gonna quote that other post with the images of all of the releases slated for 2020 and say "did literally any of these come out??" I remember revving up because I'm weak for Kill Bill. Still no word on either vol. 1 or vol. 2 or many of these releases... I know the pandemic came so I can understand why not all of them came considering that, but it's crazy they announced this many only to have little to no updates on majority of them that are left! Why even announce tbh... I also wonder if any are gonna end up cancelled at this point considering it's 2021 and some have been [crickets]...

I already have my preorder in for this on Amazon US I guess there's a reason I've hesitated so much on getting that limited edition series blu-ray set! Love the dragon on it too... I'm all about Khaleesi and her dragon hehe

I blame MP for supplying me with these releases, I blame John for releases I missed that I got (like Sucker Punch, waaaay long ago), and I blame my HDZ addiction. Maybe I am weak for HDZ lol!! You got it! I have I think at least 1 or 2 cards out on my shelf, and I also have I think last year's coin out too 😜 I need to see how much I have out. I feel like every time I post I'm already moving somewhere else again 🤣

Question!! I've not done any of the awards like this yet. So if I do the picture with 25, would I get both the 10 and the 25 HDZeta award at the same time? Or do I need to post a picture of 10 first, get that award, and then do a picture of 25 after to get the second award? Hope that's okay to ask!

In a funk over the fact they didn't film much at all before the COVID production shutdown I believe I read an interview with Elisabeth Moss saying they only filmed for a week or two max in March before the shutdown started, and they were supposed to film into August! The new season was supposed to be slated for fall 2020 but I just do not see it happening. They have nothing filmed really (1-2 weeks is nothing, and even Elisabeth Moss said they didn't get much) and I'm not even sure the shutdown will be over by fall... I imagine the new season will be pushed to anywhere between early to late 2021 depending on when they can finally film again. Love this show so much... I know it's not worth risking anyone's health or well-being so I will be patient! Guess I didn't realize how long some TV series film for and how short post-production can be

I only watched season 1 finally a few months ago and now I'm all anxious waiting for season 2.... season 1 came out in summer last year and now season 2 won't come until September I believe Ugh! So impatient. I'm glad at least something got filmed before the COVID shutdown to give me something to watch I guess. Super excited to see Aya Cash join the cast as well. I LOVED her in You're The Worst

Finally watched The Invisible Man with Elisabeth Moss last night (amazing!!!!!!) and then finally watched Bloodshot this morning for the first time I love movies!!

Not going to lie, same here!! I lurk to either buy or just to see what’s out there. I have way too many saved searches for things so I can be lazier and let the items come to me 😆 It’s crazy though how in a nanosecond something can go from normal and in abundance to very few copies and ridiculous prices. I’ve been panic buying more than I want for releases lately because I’ve been pretty good at sniffing out OOP titles before they go fully OOP or get outed as OOP. It’s hurting my wallet. That and sales 😛 I passed on The Powerpuff Girls at Barnes and Noble so many times... even the $75 was a sticker shock and I only bought it last year. I thought It was pretty inflated for a used copy (got lucky, it is most definitely new and the guy just listed as used to cover himself). Now I think $300 is insane for a used or new copy. Like what! It was one of my favorites growing up. I used to have a lot of Powerpuff Girl birthday parties lol. To be going that high, esp on Best Buy and not premium (and not OOP title either), is mega bananas! I’m also wary of Best Buy because of damages. Can’t imagine paying triple the price only to open and find it smushed. No thanks! Lol. Tbh I’m past my crazy price paying period. I’m not proud to admit this, but the most I ever paid for a single steelbook or boxset was $500. And I’ll literally never pay it again. I want to eventually get the Inglourious Basterds Manta Lab one click and it’s like it was already pushing it for me prior (between $260-$300) and now it’s just light years out of my league. I don’t think I’ll be able to justify price like that again, maybe because priorities have changed and I realize how much I can get with $500 other than just a steelbook or 2-3 😋

I shouldn't be up this late (it's 5:30 am here lol) but does anyone randomly look up a release you have on eBay -- whether premium or just a regular release that may have gone OOP -- and kinda crap your pants? Lol. I saw The Powerpuff Girls (original series, not the redo) complete series DVD boxset is up to $300 on eBay now randomly the other day. And here I thought paying $75 was a huge price... I also was looking up Wonder Woman Manta Lab and Wonder Woman HDZ to just see pics to compare and it's bananas that single editions are now going for $200 alone! I mean, I know BvS and some other ones reached it, I guess I thought those were just grails and a rare occurrence. Guess not. Wheeew!

Want this soooo bad so I can do like I did with Wonder Woman (another of my all time favorites along with BoP) and have both HDZ and ML one clicks. But they're both dropping around the same time it looks like at the rate they're both going and my poor wallet can't take it during times like this lol unless they gap the releases by at least a month. Guess I'll have to pay an inflated price on eBay later for the one click on this one 🤧 But I'd rather pick this one up later rather than HDZ because HDZ prices can be a nightmare, even not long after release. But still wish I could commit to the GB for this Me watching how this one unfolds from afar inevitably:

Since I'm not sure where else to post this... Do you guys ever reminisce about a positive memory when it comes to acquiring a steelbook or special release? I just saw a classified ad for someone searching for Elektra FAC and it reminded me of this guy selling his brand new copy on eBay that I haggled with through best offer and eBay messages 2-3 years ago. He was super nice and he said he'd do X amount because he'd feel better knowing it's going to a real collector who wants it. I still own that Elektra FAC to this day and I think about that guy and how kind he was! Sometimes I miss people like that in the community. I've also had positive memories with @45Caliber. We used to split boxsets together all of the time. I also bought a couple of releases off of him. I loved it and it was our thing, and it saved me money because half of the time I couldn't afford the full boxset right off the bat 🤣 So I'd paid him for my portion and wait for release day Those were great times. I also remember him building his shelves from Fry's Electronics and how big his collection got so quick!!
