I did by chance end up with a matching pair of Lenti and 1/4 slip of Kimchi Thor, with the same #. This was very rare because it was before the days of the “one click”.

I actually had the same for Kimchi’s Iron Man too. Nowadays collectors take it for granted that they will get matching #. Then it was very rare. 
Great to see these items though. 

That's wild...I briefly looked for matching numbers for these older Kimchis but I knew it was going to be futile at this point. But yeah, as long as a release came as a one click, I'll never buy mismatching numbers.

Every original Thor Lenti and 1/4 slip had #9 on. Which was Frozen if I remember correctly. 
Oh and don’t forget you need the pet slips to go with those Thors too.

There were correction stickers printed by Kimchi. They are as rare as rocking horse s..t. 

I gave one to John years ago. I bet he has forgotten he has/had it.

Just cross checked and this was actually Exclusive #8. So which one is rare? The correct # or the wrong #?

I can certainly understand that. Maybe if it's just a known option then for members. Once they receive a reward, it unlocks in the MP store and that's that. 

Going in to this, I have no idea how many folks are / are not going after awards. I figured it was everyone to some degree. I'm not privy to that information tho. Either way, this was just an initial idea to be discussed and refined to something workable.

Custom stickers would be really viable to do. And shipping would be nothing if you just threw them in the person's next order. And even if you had to ship direct by itself, it would be the price of a simple letter.

As for something like a coin, I agree that's a stretch. But I'd be curious to know what the difference would be with our annual member's coins and something like this? How many people are buying those Media Psychos coins? Whoever the vendor is for those, is there an option to make smaller ones at a lower price? Any time someone earns an award, maybe they're immediately given the option to buy its corresponding coin / sticker / whatever. Kinda like those theme park workers who upsell you on those photos of yourself 💩ing your pants on the roller coaster. Except this would be much cooler.

Yeah, I certainly think the cost should be passed on to the recipient. Heck, maybe each member can opt in for which level of physical version they want. I.e. $30 coin or $5 sticker.

Have we ever discussed physical versions of awards? Small coins, pins, even nice stickers? Could be something really cool to accompany the display of our collections.

Oh dude...my OCD is real. I know exactly the feeling of nice finishes getting micro scratches and swirls like that. Even just wiping dust off can leave some minor ones. That's why ANYTHING I take the wrapper off is going directly into a sleeve. I also wear white gloves any time I handle them. stop using inappropriate language...I'm even incredibly careful when I pull slips out of the one click boxes. Maintaining pristine condition is an art. Lol

Thanks dude! I am very proud of it. It's a fulfilling hobby. My TOP targets are the Blufans Doctor Strange, the Novamedia Age of Ultron, and the Novamedia Avengers. All one clicks. However, they're a fortune in the aftermarket so in the meantime, I'm aiming a little lower. So I'd like to finish off the KimchiDVD series. All I'm missing there are the Captain America OCs. Then I'd like to finish Novamedia. This is where I'm sitting with those:

I have considered it, if they were in storage then I would agree.

 

But they are perfectly safe sat there as is. Plus I’m not really convinced that I like the look of protectors. A lot of my Pops arrive in protectors but I take them straight off. 😁 It’s an appreciated & loved collection. Not a museum. 😉😂😂

I myself am torn on the aesthetic of protective sleeves. I do like the idea of my collection not getting dusty. And I do like the bit of uniformity it adds to everything. But on the other hand, it takes away from the textures and fine details of each piece.

Hey buddy! Not sure how long you've been here but glad you are here! Collecting steels and premiums is a lot of fun and this community makes it all the better!

To give you a little insight this is how my experience went. Upon the first opening of tiered memberships, I was able to get Gold. When the next cycle rolled around--at the time it was in 12-month intervals--I was able to upgrade to Platinum. This is not to imply any degree of likelihood but just the possibility based on how it worked out for me back when I joined a few years ago. 

But if I've learned anything here, it's that missed opportunities are unforgiving. If you want something, you've gotta keep your ear to the ground and keep a pulse on the things you're after. The good news is, the kind people here are all incredibly thoughtful and willing to help. Just make sure you do your part and follow topics so you get notifications, check threads like this so you're informed, etc.
