There's a new BioShock? (This gif is crap but for some reason there's a terrible lack of Liz gifs)

    miss name GIF

Yep. Well...in production and to my knowledge no announcements whatsoever. But I saw some weapon animations he's already done. It's super early in development so I'm guessing we won't see anything official on it until later this year or next.

    Challenge #6!
    ABCDLMNOP: Alphabetize and Summarize!

For this week's challenge, we're going to be spelling our usernames with the first letter of a movie's title! (Un)fortunately, how hard this will be is entirely based on your name. We will also be sharing the origin of our names. Here's the rules!

    • Only the first letter of the title can be used. If it starts with "The", use the word after it. If It starts with a number, use the first letter of said number. Any editions will do!
    • Only one movie per letter. For those who think they can spam X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I've got some bad news for you. You can only use that movie once. But the other X-Men movies are fair game!
    • Tell us a little about yourself. How did you come up with your username?
    • Cheese It! Maybe you're short a letter or two. Well, you can always get creative! For example, let's look at my submissions:

    I—I Am Legend

    N—National Lampoon's Animal House

    F—From Dusk till Dawn

    I—The Incredibles

    N—The Notebook

    I—Inglourious Basterds

    T—The Thing

    E—Ex Machina

    D—Dredd

    O—Onward

    O—10 Cloverfield Lane

    R—The Raid

    S—Star Trek Beyond

    20221016_000249.thumb.jpg.c6739b347db42926befca32fe6a11068.jpg

If you're wondering why I included 10 Cloverfield Lane for O, it's because I counted it as ONE ZERO, not TEN. Is that an illogical approach? I prefer to call it inspired.

And finally, the origin of my username. I came up with it shortly after playing BioShock: Infinite (big spoilers ahead)

    ...

    ...

... because I loved the character of Elizabeth so much. It's based on the finale with the lighthouses, there now being "infinite doors" for her to travel through.

    >Elizabeth: Look at that. Thousands of doors...opening all at once. My god, they're beautiful.

    >Elizabeth: See? Not stars. Doors.

    >Booker: Doors to...?

    >Elizabeth: To everywhere. All that's left is the choosing.

    >Booker: What are all these lighthouses? Why are we...who are...?

    >Elizabeth: There are a million million worlds. All different and all similar. Constants and variables.

    >Booker: What?

    >Elizabeth: There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man, there's always a city...

    >Booker: How do you know this?

    >Elizabeth: I can see them through the doors. You...me, Columbia, Songbird... But sometimes, something's different...yet the same.

    >Booker: Constants and variables.

    >Elizabeth: Yes.

    >Elizabeth: You can wait as long as you want. Eventually, you'll give him what he wants.

    >Booker: How do you know all this?

    >Elizabeth: I can see all the doors, and what's behind all the doors, and behind one of them, I see him.

Great submission! And fun fact, my best friend animated the songbird and some of Elizabeths's scenes. And now he's currently working on the new Bioshock.

  3. CHALLENGE 5

    1. This technically wasn't my first premium but it's precisely what got me into premiums and one clicks. Story time: I was only collecting steelbooks at the time and came across some Infinity War artwork by Matt Ferguson. I looked up the artwork and found art cards of the same piece and it belonged to this OC. It was an eBay listing for the art cards and an empty box. I think maybe $15. After I received it, I became curious as to what this "box set" was. I looked into it and discovered Blufans. The rabbit hole began.

Eventually I would go on to buy this one click in its sealed entirety. But the empty box of this release is my first ever experience with collecting premiums.

    image.thumb.jpeg.c4566f5a5e82b7caa31ebfb3a058b942.jpeg

    2. GotG v2 by WeET was my first ever premium purchase and I was able to purchase it directly from WeET's website. And it seems the day of May 18, 2019 was precisely the day I chose to jump into the rabbit hole. Because this was also the exact day I became a Media Psycho member.

    image.thumb.png.29f9af8d7e2edbc8f5f13517bb5e3932.png

    3. Captain America: Civil War by WeET was my very next one click. And evidently, I bought this exactly a week later, also directly from WeET. (I have WeET and Novamedia displayed together.)

    image.thumb.jpeg.b1e87f652388b98ed1de3ca4766638ec.jpeg

    4. Spider-Man: Homecoming by Filmarena would be my next purchase and the last time I bought something directly from a retailer.

    image.thumb.jpeg.fa8da7c81f778e7ac6b5b18eebdcdae6.jpeg

    5. The Incredible Hulk by Blufans was next and the first time I purchased something thru Media Psychos. It was back when there was a trading/buying/selling system and this was up for grabs by John, himself. Honorable mention goes to Black Panther by Blufans because during discussion of this sale, John let me know he had that one too so I snagged it. (This is when I learned about the "shoe box".)

    image.thumb.jpeg.b42b4c28fb61024c166372bbdabb7c1b.jpeg

After this, I joined my first Group Buy for WeET's Black Panther.

  4. CHALLENGE 4

This is extra challenging since I only have MCU titles to pull from. But I managed to do it and even included a few extra in case using an ant as transportation didn't count.

    1. The Incredible Hulk - Helicopters

    2. Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 - The Benatar (hard to see)

    3. Black Panther - Talon Fighter & Dragon Flyer

    4. Captain America: The First Avenger - The Valkyrie (Hydra's bomber jet) & a Harley-Davidson motorcycle ridden by Captain America

    5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Helicarriers & Fighter Jets (seemingly F-22 Raptors)

    6. Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 1 - The Milano

    7. Ant-Man - Ant-thony (Vehicularized Carpenter Ant)

    Challenge 3

I’m really not someone who cares about the extras. I’m really only here for a sweet steelbook and a fabulous Fullslip in the main. The rest is just needless filler to jack up the price IMHO. To that end, it’s actually hard for myself to come up with 3 items that I cherish. I have a dusty old shoebox under the bed with key chains, magnets, stickers and even wristbands that came with releases.

That said, I have managed to come up with 3 to meet the challenge (Thank you btw @GuyIncognit0 👍🏼) and yes, it’s all Marvel related. Shock Horror, I know. 😂

First up is the “invite only” holo foil magnets from Ksosk. Whilst I do not display these, they do have a place in my heart as being MP GB specific, and I fully appreciate the time and efforts in getting these designed, produced and shipped globally. Nice pieces to hold with my MP swag.

Next up are some old relics… What ever happened to PET slips huh?! At one stage I wanted to collect these as well. I have more somewhere, but I particularly like the Ant-man and Strange ones.

And lastly, again a Huge Thank you to @ksosk for these Beautiful Civil War cards (There are 10 but 9 makes a nicer image 😂). I honestly just Love these and plan to one day frame them and hang in either my office or my gym. I am sure I may be wrong, but to my knowledge these are the first items that the mighty Ksosk pulled together for some of us psychos. I can’t recall which Civil War GB it was for now, but they were a simply awesome surprise. Love them.

Whoa! MP put out their own Civil War art cards?!

Much like you, all my extras sit in a shoe box tucked away elsewhere. But I would not mind having some art cards like that. Very nice, man!

nice that you like them,I don`t make them myself,I have them done,

    I`ve asked about OC`s before,unfortunately he can`t do them

Ah okay! I'm curious as to why he can't do them. It's just a full slip with bigger dimensions. And I guess a folding flap with magnets, too. Lol. But anyway...surely someone has seen custom OC boxes done before, right?! I've been on the hunt to get them done for over a year now.

@Tonic24k I have a different WeET item that was a direct order that arrived in Chicago 8/6 and finally was processed by customs yesterday and now is moving again.  Hopefully yours is on the move as well if not yet there by now.

Good to know! I just checked and it's still there. Which is crazy it would be there for almost a month. But yeah, hopefully your package being on the move now is a good sign for me! 🍻

Not exactly as I’m not talking about the Premiums themselves, but was curious if the way the pics were arranged (I guess the shelves helped the look also!) & the way they look & that they came out this way because of the cameras you & those others use (basically saw the arrangements with the brighter colors & this is what caught my eye on yours & those others that looked similar)… it is not a biggie though thank you and have a nice night/weekend! :)

Oh, I see! Yeah, I just touch up the photos by increasing the black point and slightly increasing the "vibrance". I also adjust the warmth to a little more cooler.

No I wanted to know about these pics that you put on there, I’ve seen similar pics from others and was wondering how these were put together like this below!

    image.thumb.png.f0c7ca35ed9f94b77bc853e80eeef590.png

I'm using shelves from Target. I have Blufans on top, WeET next, then Filmarena. (There are some gap fillers like Novamedia and duplicate boxes.) I match each title so they're aligned vertically.

Does that answer your question? 😊
