I thought I'd carry on with the Blade Runner theme BR2049 was a brilliant follow up from Denis Vileneuve It definitely added to the world, with the same chilling and haunting atmosphere of the first The fact that it added many dimensions philosophically was some achievement It's a shame it didn't do well at the box office, but same was the case with the original blade runner BR2049 was a critic's favourite, I'm sure it will (if it hasn't already) go on to achieving cult status Special mention to Jared Leto who I thought was quite brilliant in the film as the follow up pratagonist to Tyrel Enjoy the steels

Thanks @Grendel for your kind words The Columbo blu ray set is definitely an uplift on DVD I would say Especially the latter seasons, where the 16:9 ratio was starting to get used more and more Overall the colour palette, skin tones and sound etc are superior.

Ok guys, so next up. Quite simply the best Sci fi film ever made Can it be any other except Blade Runner I must admit, when I watched it first time it was ok, but I did think what all the fuss was about Then I started reading more about it, it's cult status. I got more and more into it I watched it again, then also went to a "Secret Cinema" screening, which is a whole evening of interaction and being in character in amazing real sets and props I was hooked. Obsessed, trapped in the world of Blade Runner I ate, slept and lived in this world. What a stunning film Ridley Scott made Truly deserving of its status as one of the best ever And the soundtrack by Vengallis, mind blowing. Enjoy
